7" 2GB Cruz Android Tablet/eReader for $49.99
2GB internal storage, expandable up to 32GB, WiFi and android market, download apps, browse the web, read books and more! perfect cheap gift :P
Starting next Sunday in store only!

It would be nice to know what model they have.
OR what Android version they use
Is there a per store limit?
I live in idaho. My big lots ad says $79
The ad doesn't specify which version of Android it has, though a quick search shows that it is probably version 2.0. Also the product is factory refurbished, not new.
Here in Massachusetts, they're listing a 1gb version with 12gb total expansion cards for $89.
Single touch only (resistive screen, think "Nintendo DS." This also means the screen is NOT glass, but is a flexible plastic), and no access to the app store. Not fast enough for most video playback, either.
If you need a toy for the kids, I'd still be very wary.
In SC and they're advertising a 2gb for $79.
in MI, it's a 1GB Capacitive touchscreen + two sandisk sd cards (4gb & 8gb) for $89.. not bad, but I'd wanna know more about processor and OS
There are apparently several working custom ROMs that will give market access. See Slatedroid for details.

The processor is under 1ghz...I think maybe 800mhz? I can't remember...It runs 2.0 up to 2.2 android. And it uses 256mb of RAM....the same as my (profanity) phone. I was thinking about getting one on black friday for cheap, but after looking hard at the spec's I decided against it, and advise the same. 256mb of RAM SUCKS for running multiple programs, or even one memory intensive program like alot of the games out there, or even just playing a movie. I tried it on my phone and the video is laggy, and consistantly behind the audio. And after about 15sec. the audio drops out compleatly to where I have to resync the track. Its not the SD card either (class 10). Just stay away unless you want something to putts around on, or maybe browse the web/watch youtube...perform office functions/play some free games (not angry birds...lags in that too)....its alright for that.
RUN! I BOUGHT ONE OF THESE THE OTHER DAY WHEN IT WAS THE DAILY WOOT. THESE GUYS SUCK. CANT HANDLE GMAIL APP, KEYBOARD SUCKS AND HAS A BIG LAG, ITS HEAVY WITH A SMALL SCREEN, AND REQUIRES CONSTANT RESETS.
Have the r102 and t103 cruz reader/tablets.
This model is the r101/102
resistive touch (think old interactive screens in public that you had to push the buttons hard and they lagged so you press them 100 times)
DOESNT HAVE "Android Market" blatant lie
DOES HAVE Cruz market (about 10 bad apps)
533 MegaSlow processor (can be overclocked to 800 via Macho or jgm roms)
still sucks
Good for: pandora wherever you want(if you flash), check occasional email and have a large, oversized, quiet alarm clock it's worth 50 bucks..chances are your phone does that.
If its the T family (tablet) which I HIGHLY doubt (their weekly ad has a T family tab for 90 right now), its undoubtedly worth it. It't worth 90 with the 12gb sd card that biglots has.
I got the t301 on here for 60 or 70 last week and love it. More space, no need to flash unless you need Google apps. Everything not in the amazon market (which you can download for free off the internet) can be downloaded from 4shared dot com.
@ziman355: I agree! Run fast do not buy! I bought one for $79.99 and I can't even down load movies or stream any you tube. The list goes on....
im getting one for christmas it cost $119
