Nice. I enjoyed the FEAR games but haven't played the third.
However, I couldn't find how gamefly's download program works...
Do you get a key for Steam? Straight download from gamefly servers? Is there a limit to how many times you can download it? I clicked around and couldn't find these answers o.O

@jertyrael: I'm busy trying it right now. Gamefly just installed a client, so I don't think I'll be getting a steam key, unfortunately. Looks like a client that's parallel to steam or origin.

@jertyrael: I was incorrect.

Once you purchase the game through gamefly, they list an activation code in your "purchase history" section. Mine just activated in Steam.

Maybe thats why it says "This title installs and requires Steamworks to play."?

@ellimist28: Thanks for the info on getting it transferred through to Steam. Worked like a charm!

Can anyone tell me if its a must that I played the first 2 games before playing this one? $5 seems like a great price, but I dont have time to go back and play the first 2.

I wonder if all their games do that. I downloaded Rage when it was on sale a few weeks back, and just figured out it activates through Steam too. Awesome!

That's what I get for buying a game and not playing it, eh?

@desynergy: It doesn't say that on the main page at all, until you've purchased it. It's hidden behind another menu of requirements, so no, it's not obvious at all.

@jgarcia408: You don't have to have played the first two games, but a lot more of it will make sense if you have the complete backstory. Aside from that, I'm sure there's a relatively thorough plot summary on a wiki somewhere!
