@nangiggles: Umm, yes, it has a 1Ghz dual core, and yes, it is plenty fast. I own a TF101 with a dock and use it for all of my mobile computing. Having said that, I would have taken the deal yesterday for the TF300 with the dock for $300, which does have a quad core Tegra 3, over this.

For $150, if you need a tablet, you won't be disappointed with this one.

@joedetroit: I think it's a good deal. It's not the best tablet on the market but a good price for a 10".

I already own two so I'm not buying any additional ones right now.

@joedetroit: Be sure to read all the information. Significant dents, scratches, and scuffs. No Power cord, no USB cable, No manual. Power button requires extra force to turn on.

@joedetroit: If it is defective, return it. Cowboom is the best about that. Simply go to REQUEST RMA on the site, click, receive return postage, ship. It is that easy and shipping is paid by them. It does not even need to be defective. One of the return reasons is "changed my mind".

I own one of these. They're not the speediest, but not bad. There's quite a few custom ROMs out there for this as well, so there's a lot of options if you're not happy with being stuck on ICS. I'd consider $149 a great deal. You'll want to make sure you get a power supply though. This device will not charge properly from a plain old USB port. I think that's probably my biggest aggravation with it.

Thanks everyone... I got busy yesturday cooking & never got a chance to reply. I did read the posts though & changed my mind. I already have a sluggish tablet with issues but it works. Actually many of my guests yesterday used it & liked it.

The sale is still on today & I am still temped....

None of the Asus promo codes (ASUS30, ASUS20, ASUS10) would work for me =(

Is this not an excellent deal?! I am sorely tempted seeing how my wooted Thrive gives me fits. (touch screen dies & I can't revive it without a hard reset).

Where is all my pricing experts? I see it new on Amazon for 351.40. Newegg has a refurb for 229.99. This thing is "pre-owned" meaning IMO just a return... might be defective?
