I want David Attenborough to narrate my life.
I prefer the David Attenborough version because the Oprah version ironically made me want to end my Life.
I made the mistake of ordering the BBC version of this a few weeks ago. Apparently, the UK version isn't region free like Planet Earth was. I was able to watch it on my PC, but not on my PS3. I paid about the same amount for it. Maybe I'll sell it to a local gamestop and buy the American version now
Nabbed. I can watch this back to back with the Planet Earth set I got from "red to blu" and go into a documentary coma. SWEET.
Accidentally bought the DVD at Christmas. This is a good chance for me to grab the Blu-Ray!
Great deal for a great series.
I have been watching these again. Just finished disk 3 last night.
@capguncowboy: true that, it doesnt help that Oprah is just repeating the words Attenborough wrote, word for word. Somehow the word "Bonanza" just doesnt sound right if its not coming from David Attenborough (a word he uses in almost every series hes ever made over the last 50 years).
Although, Oprah was slightly better than Sigourney Weaver was on Planet Earth. What was Discovery Channel thinking? I would much rather have Attenborough's calming British voice guiding me through the insights of nature than the star of the "Alien" series...
