@xerokills: Funny, I was just looking at this today, but right now its actually cheaper on amazon. The download codes work in Steam as well.

If you don't mind "dying" a lot. Dark Souls is a ridiculously good game with tons of replay value and a difficulty level that will make really work for it. But it is incredibly fun and rewarding to play.
You can pick that game up for pretty cheap as well for 360 or PS3. Depends your preference I guess for console or PC.
I highly recommend Amazon's game download market. I've seen a lot of them that are processed through Steam, but you get unlimited downloads (to your own machines, of course) regardless. I've seen some deals that beat Steam's prices, and they have special deals/discounts all the time. Now if only my laptop could run any current-gen games...
What is the best turn based strategy game out there? More like Orion Deluxe – not the "newest" version that everyone, including me, found to be more work than fun.
@da5id: Personally, I love, and still play, Vandal Hearts, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Battle Chess. :D
@xerokills: I hook my 360 controller to my computer... Does that make me PC or console?... Pssshhh... What am I saying? PC all the way. Lol
@danieleg I can confirm it was 80% yesterday. The sale timer for that would have expired sometime earlier today though so it probably went back to 66% if you are just now seeing it.
@thenombomb: Haha, I loved Battle Chess. Great memory on that one.
On Sales Page 1 for Tropico 4 (#15) it says 80% off ($6) but you click it and the offer is 66% off ($10)
@danieleg: It says "-66% / 10.19" for me. Have you tried refreshing?
KOTOR and KOTOR II are two games I can go back and play any time. Some of the best "Expanded Universe" content yet.
vote for CounterStrike 2 to be 50% off tomorrow. It is one of the best fps games for pc
Gah, I just bought KOTOR I & II yesterday or the day before for $5 each!
@buenocabra: Where do you find their download market? (yeah, I could rummage myself, but I'm lazy and it's easier to ask. :P )
@buenocabra: Good tip, I bought a steam copy of Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition for $15 last week, $5 lower than I've seen it on any Steam sale so far.
@thenombomb: I'd say that makes you PC. The last two games I bought on Steam would not work with any gamepad except the 360 controller. I had to install a 3rd-party 360 gamepad emulator to even use my logitech gamepad.
@omnichad: I would be soooo pissed. Lol
@Amazon topic - I agree. I picked up Bioshock I & II from them and, at the time, it was cheaper than Steam's sale. If I'm not mistaken, don't they all have the "view key" option (for activating through Steam)?
ALSO! I accidentally expired this deal. It's still alive for another 19 hours! It moved down and I forgot it doesn't disappear... Faaaaiiiillll... >.<
Now it's actually expired. :p
@starchasertyger: Link for the lazy (that's you, bub!): http://www.amazon.com/Game-Downloads/
Easy to get to. On the Amazon home page, just mouse over "Digital Games & Software" on the "Shop by Department" menu, then click where you want to go.
You can also just search for whatever game you're looking for, and the digital version will be one of the options in the top description of the main page if it's available.
@thenombomb: Yep, the key (or a link to it) is included when you download the game, and you can just copy & paste into Steam. Nifty!
@da5id: I recomend Dragon Age: Origins, then the expansion Awakening. There is also a Dragon Age 2 which is also a fun turn based strategy game.
The deal I wanted is live, now:
"Tropico 4 + Prima Official Strategy Guide" for $7
