almost 80 dollars on amazon, great reviews, so good deal.
Already saying they are out of stock — keeps removing the headphones from my cart each time I try to check out with the message "Sennheiser Electronic corp. HD280PRO has been removed from shopping cart due to quantity limitation/insufficient stock. Some combo items might be affected by this."
Ridiculous. NewEgg stupidly allowed purchasers to buy up to five of them (!), so resellers no doubt snapped them up, only to sell them back at $90 as soon as they receive them. I am shocked NewEgg didn't restrict the purchases on an item that is 40% off. I sure hope they make it right by getting me the same price. I have an e-mail in to them right now.
what a deal. i paid easily $30 more for mine (although that was over 7 years ago) these are awesome. better than any active noise canceling headphones i've tried and the sound quality is awesome, clear highs and deep bass. you don't need to crank the volume and kill your hearing to get great sound out of these. AWESOME. (and i have several sets of headphones and these are my favorite, even more than my $150 Technics RPDH1200)
Also, they are about $90 around the internets, so even though it is a great deal, the $149.95 price is not charged by any significant online reseller.
@dxdn: Let me know if they get back to you, I am in the market for a new pair.

@bkendall13: Well, I've just received a reply to my reply to NewEgg's first reply, and they offered me a $20.00 gift certificate valid towards any future NewEgg purchase.
While it isn't $40.00 (the amount of the original discount), it will have to do since it is free money, and I wasn't entitled to the discount or any compensation; I was just really aggravated by the experience of trying to buy. If you had the same experience, they will probably do the same for you; I just made it clear that the experience was very frustrating to me.
WHAT? they only offered me a $10.00 gift card!!! what gives??? NEWWW-EYYYYG!
I did get the headphones in via UPS. It looks like New Egg is no longer carrying these. Perhaps they're discontinued? They probably had a very limited stock (of course, they didn't advertise that fact). Sorry to everyone who missed out.
