Good deal, but speaking from experience, these have a high failure rate, and the warranty process is a nightmare. Might be worth the risk for that price, though...

@dpn0121: That is if the store has them in stock.

After just settling a 4 month ordeal with the Westinghouse warranty service, I will never purchase, nor accept as a gift, one of their products again. They should have stuck to light bulbs.

@dpn0121: My experience with price matching has been that if the website says "online price", that the B&M stores will not match. Did the policy change for the holidays?

No HDMI output so it's a no for me. I don't want to have to leave my surround system on all the time to watch TV.

went into the store today to buy it, they refused to sell it to me. stating it was for black friday

@mewman13: it did for Target but looks like not all of them are following it. It did work local for a friend of mine.

Hmm...local Targets (7 in area) all have in stock and is online orderable at that price...Too bad I have no need...

Is the 3 year Target Warranty ($45) any good? Would that mitigate the Westinghouse stigma?

vote-for1vote-against

Could have ordered online but choose stupidly to go to my local store in Salem NH
I drove over but they said they would not honor it because by the time I got there it was sold out online and they would not honor it even though it is in stock at EVERY single local Target. Made 5 calls and magically they say it is NOT in stock even though it reflects it in stock online locally.
Word of advice.... Buy immediately online if you can....
Print online availability before you leave your house.....
Verify in stock before you trudge out to the store and deal with a smirking manager and sales associate

Waited (Camped out) all night long last year and got the 40" for under $300. Mine's still going strong.

if you see the note next to the price, it says its an "online price"

jsut saying..

Ive had this TV for over 2 years and not a single problem. Granted I paid $495 at BB though, so this TV could be cheaper.

I went to my local Target on my lunch break to try and snag the deal. They're priced at $599.00 in store and they refused to honor the online price. They said it was a pricing mistake and they will not honor it.

I printed out the page, took it right up to them and they said "No problem, lets pull it from the back" easiest thing ever
