Why does this "deal" come up for $39.99 for me?

vote-for3vote-against

The coupon code TGQ9MBA2 worked for me last night.
It may have expired.

Please try:
W9E6BMYS

@saratogajerry: Came up as $12 even when I used the coupon code.
It also qualifies for free super saver shipping by itself since they use the before coupon total to meet the $25 shipping requirement.

These mats really work, and this is a good price.

vote-for2vote-against

Both codes worked for me and either made the final price $10.95

vote-for1vote-against

both codes worked for me but final price was $12.00 , not 10.95 as someone stated earlier.. or $11.99 as the deal says. Still a good deal though :)

I just bought mine and the code worked for me, can't wait to try it.

vote-for1vote-against

@sabeel: Thanks! That code worked and the final price was $12.00. The code in the original post is expired.

We use a lot of parchment paper, definitely giving this a try.

Strange I used the coupon code and got $15.00 as a final price.

vote-for0vote-against

I'm seeing the same thing.
Still the best deal on amazon (or elsewhere) for a set of 2 baking mats, as far as I can tell.
The promo (70% off code) is suppose to end anytime.

vote-for2vote-against

For me it comes up as $49.99. The TGQ9MBA2 code says it's expired. The other code works but only takes $20 off, leaving it $29.99, which I think is what these actually cost in a store. I won't mark it dead since some people seem to still be getting it for some reason.

Second code (W9E6BMYS) worked for me, more or less. Pre-code price was $25, after code was $15 ($10 off for the promo and no shipping charges, as someone else said).

Does the decision to buy these things come down to how much parchment paper you use? Is there some benefit other than cleanup?

vote-for1vote-against

@amulekii: Yes. No need for parchment paper, cooking oil or sprays, making them eco-friendly and healthier option. The biggest benefit is the even heat distribution, so everything you bake comes out perfectly. Nothing sticks to the mat. Can be used at very high and low temperates and cleanup is very easy.

vote-for2vote-against

The second code got me $15.00 too: a great price! If you are making candy like caramel, or candying nuts these things don't stick, where parchment paper would stick and/or incinerate. You can also use the smooth back side to roll out fondant, if you use that (imho disgusting) stuff. I'm a pastry chef, and buy parchment paper by the case - for home! I also think I'll save these for sweet, and use my older mats for savory like fries or fish.

@sabeel:

Thanks for your reply. So it's not just for easy cleanup, also even distribution? Would that be a benefit even if my cookie trays are the air-insulated kind? How well does this heat-distributing feature work on regular cookie sheets (I mean using the silicone mat on regular cookie sheets)?

vote-for1vote-against

@amulekii: I'm not an expert on this but can speak from my experience with Silicone Baking mats. When used with the regular cookie sheets, the even heat distribution works very well. So whatever is baked, turns out great. This includes cookies, veggies, poultry and seafood. This product includes recipe book and access to several videos that should give you a great idea on what the outcome should be.

When I looked at this item on Amazon a couple of hours ago, the retail Amazon Prime price was
$39.99. But, now, it's $25.99.... The first code didn't work just now, but the second code took $10.40 off.
I'm an Amazon Prime member, so my final cost is $15.59. Wish I had found this deal when it was first listed :-(

vote-for1vote-against

Code W9E6BMYS still works. Takes $10.40 off the regular price. Still a good deal.

vote-for1vote-against

Just placed an order - $15.59 w/ code W9E6BM. Thanks!

vote-for1vote-against

This is still alive and kicking. Clicking the link brought me to the Amazon page with the price as $17.99 with Prime shipping available (I am a Prime member). The code TGQ9MBA2 is dead, but code W9E6BMYS gave a $7.20 credit, bringing my total to $10.79 shipped w/ Prime. Thanks!

vote-for1vote-against

Huh, the price keeps fluctuating; $19.99 now. Code W9E6BMYS takes $8.00 off, but you need to add a $5 item (or have Prime) to get free shipping.
