dealstravel aluminum bottle pill container with key…

This is fine until you need to take it on an airplane. You can't really go anywhere with unmarked pills these days.

I've had one on my keychain for over a year now and fly a lot for work and I've never had a problem shrug. Worst case, you lose $1.79 and some painkillers, right? I wouldn't store prescriptions in it for sure.

@justafreak: TSA never bats an eye at my unmarked pills. Though the may sample some.

These would make great micro containers for geocaching.

@justafreak: Two weeks ago I had my pills in this and sent my carry on through the machine. They did not bat an eye

I purchased this a year a year ago and when they arrived they had an awful smell and the inside had a bit of overspray from the paint. I thought it was anodized aluminum but buyer beware, its paint.

I was assuming this would be for folks to store their "medicinal herb" in...which you wouldn't be bringing through TSA anyway.
For what it's worth, the Meritline site reviews mention the price being $0.99 on 8/17/2011.

Yes, these are great micros for geocaching.

@trybble: indeed. i spraypaint them to make them easier to conceal.

Be aware that this is ONE item, not a "pack" of 3-4 of them. The listing on meritline is a bit deceptive. It shows a picture of four of them...right next to "1 Pack" for $1.79.

They don't mention that only ONE is in a "pack."

My mom had one of these hanging off her cane for ten years with arthritis and diabetes pills for "just in case" while out and about. I've had one on my keys for years with some tylenol and a single use tube of eye drops.

Only problem I've ever had was the rubber o ring drying and cracking. Just got a rubber washer at HD and trimmed to fit.

A bottle of nitro slides right in one of these numbers.

I live for the day TSA says something. I so plan to rip open my shirt to show off the open heart/gall bladder/appendix/HOLY CRAP why did they do THAT scars. No luck so far. They don't even open it up because I've got one of those medical cards that say I'll set off every alarm in the airport if they send me though the metal detector. :/

I use this on my dog's collar. I wrote about his medical condition and my contact info on a piece of Tyvec (from an envelope) just in case it gets water inside. Sometimes you can't fit all the info on those little dog tags.

i had the same exact container. long story short, my girlfriend is very sick, on a lot of different medications. she would carry all the prescription bottles with her, in her purse, because she would spend most of the time at my house and some nights she wasn't well enough to go home. the pharmacy lady sold her on a few of these, saying just in case something happens to your purse, you won't loose all yours meds. well one night she forgets one of these containers at my house. she was getting ready for a doctors appt, at home, so i decided to walk it down. BIG mistake. as luck would have it, i get stopped by the police because "they never seen me before". i lived in the area my whole life, walk my girlfriend home and walk my dog twice a day. these were new cops. so they ask what was in my back pocket, i told them doggy bags(to clean up the dogs waste, i always have them even when i don't have the dog, habit). he then reaches sees they are just doggy bags, and continues in my other

pockets. he pulls out the container so proud, "ahh what is this, you selling"? im like "nope, i doubt people want prescription anti nausea medication". i told them my girlfriend has the bottles and i was in front of her house. they could get her to bring them out. nope i ended up spending 36 hours in county, having to post $300, to get out. just to have the charges dropped at the first hearing, because my girl came with her prescriptions. no pills were narcotic either, she keeps those in the pharmacy bottle.
