I have this and am very happy with it. I do wish it had backlighting, but for the price it's a good buy.
I have 3 of these, and they work well.
But
This is not that great a deal because:
1. it's regularly on sale for $21 or so.*
2. The newer model with backlight is regularly on sale for $36*

I have one of these for my media center computer in my living room. For basic mouse movements and clicks, it works fine. For anything more than that and some very basic typing, it's not spectacular.
The buttons are tiny and not back-lit. There's no function buttons, so no alt+f4'ing. The trackball is not the most responsive/accurate thing I've ever used. And the mouse-clicks are sometimes a bit sketchy to pick up.
But for basic stuff, it works great, and using it on a VERY regular basis, it took me a good 6-8 months to blow through the included AAA batteries.
