Wow, does that website look sketchy. I was curious and going to buy this but I think I'll wait until it shows up somewhere I can see it.
In for one. Looks good. I had no problem ordering.
@lboban: The PulseTV folks seem to be legit; I've ordered a couple of times from them and have received my order in a timely manner.
@mnerd: I just placed an order (I've been waiting weeks for this product to come back into stock), and it loaded just fine for me.
@lboban: You can order it from Amazon, but you will only get one bottle for the same price as this deal. Of course, you might not have to pay shipping.
@angie66miller: Thanks for the additional information! Shipping from the PulseTV folks to my Florida address was $4. As it turns out, I could have ordered it from Amazon and had it shipped for free, but I much prefer to have a second bottle of the stuff for the equivalent of $4. Stocking stuffer!
@lboban: Hi there, just want to let you know we've been in business since 1996, and we have excellent customer service you can call at any time if you have any questions. Smitty's Glasswax has also been one of our best-selling items for the past few years, and you can read customer reviews on the site. There's also a video (that we made last year) on our site that explains and demonstrates it!
Is this product safe to use on eyeware with Crizal lenses? My optician cautioned me about using cleaning solutions that may not be compatible with the lens coatings.
@rshigenaka: On the bottle of Smitty's Glasswax, it says in bold, TOTALLY SAFE ON ALL TYPES OF GLASSES. It's a non-abrasive soft liquid that coats the surface. The microfiber cloth it comes with also won't scratch or ruin anything, but we haven't tried it out (no one at our office has Crizal lenses) It works perfectly fine on all the glass surfaces we've tried though!
@lboban: I have ordered this exact product from this exact website, as well as a few other products from them periodically. Their shipping sometimes kills a deal for me, but I really LOVE this stuff for my eyeglasses, and even use it on my (expensive) surgical laser glasses. It lasts a long time.
Although I don't order from them a whole lot, I have never had a problem with them. The one time I had to contact customer service, I was very satisfied with how they handled it. They are a small company and therefore have a more personal "touch."
Hope that helps you feel better about ordering from them. You can take my opinion or leave it, but as you can see from my stats here at Woot and Deals, I hope you feel you can trust my judgement.
