I was just looking at Amazon lightning deals and there was a Duracell 2-battery charger with 2 pre-charged batteries for $12.99. When I looked at the description page, this showed up at the bottom as another item people were viewing. This 4-battery charger cost less than the "lightning deal" 2-battery one, even though the retail price of this is higher. That just goes to show you that Amazon's lightning deals are NOT always the best deal....

After the heavy-duty NON alkaline batteries that Woot just offered (that I ordered then cancelled once I realized they were NOT a great deal), I decided to start switching to rechargables.

I ordered one of these for $10.99 then posted the deal, then I went back to order 2 more. I didn't see the coupon until after my second order was placed, so I cancelled both of my orders and re-ordered with the coupon applied. Unfortunately it will only apply the coupon to one. Still, at $10.99 this is a great deal and I ordered 2 more at that price anyway.

Wow, this is a very good deal. I think I paid a little over $20 less than 8 months ago. Good find, and a really great product in my opinion.
