I purchased this back when they were $50 each. Nice chair for the money, I would pay $60 for the same chair. So this deal isn't terrible, but there has been better.
Currently sitting in this chair. I've had it for a year and a half. It's still comfortable, but the seat has peeled so much that I'm looking to replace it.
Granted, I do a lot of sitting in it (it is in my home office, which doubles as my man-cave).
I have this chair also and would buy it again if I needed a replacement yet.
You can make it $50 by adding a $15 item, and purchasing a $25 off of $75 coupon! This will make it $52 roughly.
This chair has been this price for a good week or two now, for teh record.
Another one currently sitting in this chair - bought at $50. Finally took it out of the box a few days ago. I kept thinking it would be very difficult to assemble. Not; it was SO easy! Chair's wonderful. Recommended, even at $10 more. Worth it!!
One of the composite-material arms broke on me while I was leaning back. It dumped me on the floor. I'd still give it a decent rating. I was 15 lbs over the weight rating.
multiple reviews on the Staples site about the chair smelling bad...concerning
@ultrav21: Not knocking this deal. But I have a chair that looks identical that I got from staples only difference I can tell is that it's actual leather not faux leather. I've had it for going on 7 years now and it still looks almost brand new. It was $89 on sale normally like $129 (7 years ago) But if you're replacing your chair every year it might make sense to spend the extra $50 for one that will last.
I could care less for $50. What I need is a chair that is built sturdy for large men, whether overweight or fit. I frequent the gym everyday and I stand 6'4. I need a chair that will support me at 260lbs :\
