Walmart has these for about the same price. They work pretty well, I have two of them. One at the office and another on my porch. They aren't the quietest fans but I've heard louder.
Edit: they went up in price since I bought them, they are $15.84 @ Walmart now.

Seen 'em as low as $5 at local grocery stores in New England at the end of summer. Get a few years out of them before they fill with dust and start to squeel (at least in our dusty house!) Always pick up a few at end of season for back-ups.

I have a couple of these. One of them I've had for several years. I wanted something in the room on my nightstand that could blow across the bed (I get hot real easy), but also provide that "white noise" while I sleep. At the time I was on swing-shift and I've gotten so used to it I can't hardly sleep without it.
Also, I set one in the floor aiming at the side of the bed and turned on low. During the night if I get hot, I can move my leg over just enough to push the sheet out a little and it starts blowing under the sheets and cools me off quick.
Overall a great fan.

have a few of these* and I like them a lot. For the $$ I don't think you will find a better fan.

* The ones I have are about 12" but I don't see the demensions in the specs for this one.
