I've had years of good luck with 2.5" WD external drives...and "refurb" means to me that whatever was going to fail on a particular unit has already failed, so that doesn't scare me off.

I recommend these drives constantly as Time Machine drives for Macs--they're small, quiet, and solid. Sixty bucks is a steal when the time comes that you really need to recover that important file...

Target has the 250GB one for $30 brand new, all the time. This seems a lil high especially considering its a refurb. One thing to note my 250gb failed me after about 6 months but Western Digital gladly replaced it (as per their 2 year warranty) I had to pay shipping though. They sent me back a 320gb drive because the color blue I originally had was not in stock and I opted for the alternative, black, instead of waiting.
