I once did one of these for my wife. I suggest making sure to add an expiration date, or 2 years later you'll have "breakfast in bed" and "do the laundry" coupons thrown in front of you :-)

@kmeltzer: It could be worse, what if you had broken up, and she still expected you to honor them? And how would your new girlfriend/wife have felt about that? Kettle of fish.

Adding a "void if we are divorced or broken-up.." might get you in trouble too. :)buzzkill at least?

My wife gave me a coupon book years ago. I still have it- I just make sure I wait for several months to pass then say- "Hey look what I found! I want to use this coupon tonight." Then we "Use" the coupon (but I never actually take it out or throw it away) then when I "refind" the coupon book a few months later I "still have" that coupon.

After 10 years of marriage (I'm guessing about 7 years of that coupon book)- she either hasn't caught on yet- or just doesn't mind. I have a great wife! :)

Anyhow- moral of the story- if you ever receive one of these- try not to actually part with the coupons. If you wait a while between uses she (or he) won't catch on to the fact you are reusing them.
