I haven't been in about a year (the kid is on an antipizza kick right now), but unless things have changed this is close to normal price at least in the Houston area.
And since their regular buffet price is $4.99 around here, this is something like buy 2 buffets, get 2 drinks for $1.01
Honestly, is Cici's so expensive that you need a coupon?? Really, what this gives you is a free drink since (most) Cici's are $5.49 per person, so you're paying $.01 for two sodas, which I guess is a good deal!
Laugh if you will, but this place is actually a GREAT date spot if there are kids involved. (Speaking from personal experience, currently seeing a lady who has 2 little ones =))
This is actually a great deal for me. The CiCi's near me used to be $5 per person, but has since upped to $7 per person. Tack on $2 for each drink, and you're looking at about $20 for two after tax.
Time to load up on breadsticks and cinnamon buns!

Never drink soda at an all you can eat buffet. It takes up valuable room in your stomach.

me and my friend hang out weekly and hardly ever go to cicis, but we just went last week. Looks like it's gonna be 2 weeks in a row, easily a savings of at least 5 bucks. Not bad.

The main problem with this deal, is that it involves having to actually eat at a Cici's. You get what you pay for, and at Cici's, you get cheap ingredients poorly thrown together and badly baked, served in a rather unpleasant setting. If you think Cici's pizza is good, you've never actually had a good pizza.
I agree with you. This place banks on the fact that you cannot eat enough pizza for the price to be worth it. Dough is cheap and fills you up quick. Not to mention the pop and iceberg lettuce that fills your belly up with water.
For a family, it's a better deal to go a local Pizzaria and get quality pizza since you're probably not going to be able to throw down more than 3-4 slices without feeling sick.
