This SHOULD be running ICS, not Honeycomb (WiFi only should be Jelly Bean). It reads 3G, but many Xooms were updated to 4G LTE...gotta take a gamble on that one.

Weirdest thing is I just got one that is 3G, but Verizon does not seem to know that they are providing me with service...I never activated it and there is no SIM card in it, yet I get 3G.....shhhhhh.

@morriea: so THAT's what the tattle button is for! :P a direct line to Verizon. Those sneaky bastards...

Beware the items they advertise as recertified or refurbished are just used. Good luck getting them to honor that 90 day warranty. I can't even get them to ship me the items I purchased not refund my money

I bought one of these from Daily Steals about 6 weeks ago. Their confirmation email said that it can take up to 6 business days to ship. On the 5th day, I emailed them asking about their cancellation policy. My Xoom shipped the next day. I did get an email with tracking number.

I got it, but they sent a wi-fi only version instead of the advertised 3G version. But it seemed to be in perfect condition. Only the charger looked like it was used... scratched up and slightly bent pin. But the Xoom looked perfect and worked flawlessly (and has ever since). I don't know if it was used previously or what. Daily Steals lists them as "factory recertified" and everyone I've talked to with a genuine "factory reconditioned" or "factory refurbished" or "factory recertified" (whatever terminology is used) unit says that there is a sticker on the back indicating that Motorola recertified them. No such sticker on my Xoom. So take your chances with Daily Steals. I did and I'm happy.

@ozmandias: I have done the same thing with this, and other, daily deal sites...an email just asking nicely how to cancel works wonders.

@superspec: They specified "business days" so you may have a few more to wait. Hopefully all will go well for you.
