Is this a good chair to fuse my skin to? I don't want to make it too hard for the fire department to have to pry me out of it when I've been sitting for 8 years straight and in need of severe medical attention.

Living in Texas, I think this should be marketed as a "Ladies" chair, instead of a "Big Man's" chair, becuase I have yet to see a man with a backside wider than the average woman I see in Walmart.

My doctor recently told me that if you're going to fall sleep in a recliner make sure it reclines flat. One needs to avoid the danger of blood pooling in the feet and the secondary problem of what he called the tourniquet effect....where an upper body reclined half way or less can seriously further impact the circulation from the pressure put on the blood vessels.

I have no intention of buying this Ginormous recliner. But I have enjoyed reading all the comments about it. Ya'll are hilarious! Skunkmonkey, I am female, shop at WalMart occasionally and live in TX too. I too have witnessed extra large behinds at WalMart and I thought your comments were hilarious! Thanks to all the big-human recliner commenters for making me laugh!

I mean it doesnt look that big in the picture, it would be a problem if they were trying to pass off those 2 person recliners they have now for a single "big man's char", but regardless of that it looks like its made out of some material you'd find at granny's house.

We have one in my house. It is big enough that me and my hubby can sit together all cozy, but not as big as a love seat. Mainly it's my husband's chair and my 5yr old they sit together a lot.
