Make sure you click on the Amazon sold one on the side. At least for me, it came up at $173.81 at first, but if you look on the side you see $139.99.

AWESOME! I've been looking at this monitor for over a month now to complete my first ever PC build and this is the deal I've been waiting for. Lowest price anywhere online for one of the best monitors on the market. Newegg has this same model for $149.99 after rebate. $30 difference and Amazon doesn't add any tax. Great find, thanks for posting!

The rebate form I saw showed that the purchase and to be between 1/1/2012 and 1/31/2012.

It's not dead, it's a bad listing. Check the like below and click on the rebate it's current for the month of February... which just started.

EDIT: Grr... seems Amazon redirects to the one not sold by them. Click other sellers and pick the one shipped by Amazon.

This deal probably won't be around for much longer. If you look at the Amazon listing it says: Usually ships within 2 - 4 weeks.

Official monitor of "Major League Gaming" is 16:9? Ouch. That's like saying the official bat of Major League Baseball is a tball bat

@bhcompy I know right? I wouldn't be caught DEAD using the resolution that every video game supports and 99% of serious gamers run at, I mean that's SO 2011

New Egg still does it better. I picked up a 24" ASUS LED 1080p HDMI monitor with 50,000,000:1 contrast for $165 the other week. Right now it is $189 though, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236174
