My original post had the wrong date. It starts today, the 29th, not tomorrow, the 30th. And it is the 29th in my time zone and Woot's.

What's the significance of $1.04? I get the 04 is for the Fourth of July. But is the 1 supposed to look like a 7 or something?

I got all excited, I love the BK broiler, Chicken Whopper, Tendergrill, what ever they call the grilled chicken, but this is for the giant flat chicken nugget on a bun.

Not the best chicken sandwich (around here Chick-fil-A is they way to go), but the QPR on $1.04 can't be beat. In for 3.

For a dollar I can buy a couple, bring them home and add my own tomato and onions, and turn this into a respectable chicken sandwich

@caffeine_dude: They're salty-greasy deliciousness! Oddly, these are my favorite sandwiches. Very simple... Big, salty, greasy chicken nugget on a bun with some few-day-old shredded lettuce and mayo.

This has been a Burger King classic for decades. It is also a sodium bomb, but it tastes great especially at $1.04 each.

Dinner for two - four original chicken sandwiches, two side salads - $7 something. Can't beat it.
