@nickpost: True and yummy. I was first introduced to something like this in the Australian candy bar "Violet Crumble". The Brits have somethings similiar but I can't remember the name. Now I mostly get it at Sprouts in the bulk section. I still like Violet Crumbles the best, but those are hard to find in the US.

Do these taste the way 5th avenue bars used to taste when I was a kid? Because back then they were super flaky and awesome. Maybe I'm off base, but the description has made me hopeful!

@gt0163c: These are very similar to Violet Crumbles. I used to each them (from Austrailia) as a kid as well, and was totally hooked! Haven't heard the name in years.
