Per this video, it looks like the backpack comes with an extra shoulder strap to use as regular messenger bag. In for one.

Owned one for over two years now. Was very happy about the space in the bag, but the zippers failed after a year (so did the warranty). The ones used the most separated so they can't close, and just the other day (two years later) one of the zipper tabs snapped in my hand. In half. I wouldn't buy another.
