@landbeaver: I like the interface on the PS3 a lot better, easier to search for me and browse to find shows. As far as performance goes, both are excellent.

I love my Roku. easy to configure, easy to use. more than just NetFlix. It supports Amazon prime videos too.

iOS (and probably Android) users: be sure to get the Roku app, which doubles for the remote when you lose it, and actually improves the interface with faster channel-changing and phone-keyboard searching.

@philosopherott: They send you an email (usually a while after you place your order) and the credit is applied to your amazon account. Not sure how this works if you bought it as a gift (as I did) though

The one thing that I dislike about the netflix client on the Roku is that it doesn't seem to support closed captioning even when the stream does. I can watch the same movie on my PC and the captioning will be available.

Roku's 2 year warranty is $9.99. I found out about it on the hard way. I got a brand new defective unit and I had to send it back before the 90-day hardware warranty at my own expense..
