Why are Kohl's sale announcements starting to make me think of blue light specials? At the rate that "everything is on sale" it's becoming less of an event and more of a routine.

Right ... If there was an additional 20% off coupon with 'everything' on sale then it might be a deal. But Kohl's has everything on sale all the time anyhow since there MSRP is usually higher than the actual MSRP!

It is a fact that Kohl's overdoes the sale routine! However, in the world of retail, it is sometimes important to understand the difference between "On Sale" and "For Sale" and not to confuse the rwo!

Kohl's fake prices their MSRPs, and then runs "sales" to bring people in. If you pay full price at Kohl's, then you are a sucker. Same with Macy's, and most other department stores (except for JCP now apparently).

If you've gone to Kohl's lately with their store redesign you would know that EVERYTHING is not on sale everyday now.

Google them. You can almost always find a 15% or 20% off coupon to add to the savings. I wonder if there's anyone who actually buys anything WITHOUT one of those things...
