@mtrlgrl: It's not the fact that there's only one review, it's the fact that it's negative AND 6 out of 6 people agreed. The only other "reviews" I see on this scanner are advertisements by the manufacturer about the scanner being "Designed For Convenience, Designed For Quality, Designed For You".

$60 is a risk with nothing positive to say but the advertiser's word-of-mouth.

Edit, also: There were down votes when I viewed the deal. I'm not supporting or condemning the post, just stating what I saw and letting Woot!ers stay informed.

@toge: It says 6 out of 6 found this review helpful, not 6 out of 6 agreed, those people probably have no real life experience with the device. I happen to have one and it works great for me when I am on the road, i use it for receipts daily, I have had few problems with it not taking the paper. For the money its a better deal then most of the other portable scanners i found when searching.

@toge: I understand where you're coming from now. It is more about risk than anything, and yes, this is a risky deal with so little info on it. I guess it depends on how much risk one is willing to take. Thanks for the input.

@toge: I did notice that, but since there was only one review, and I couldn't find much negative elsewhere I took a chance and posted the deal. I am thinking about buying this myself and wondering if it is worth it.

edit: And I really wish you wouldn't vote a deal down because of one bad review. Price wise, it is a very good deal in my opinion.
