In store only un-advertised clearance closing out this model for $249.99 at both local walmart stores in my area. Check your local stores as it may only be in Illinois stores. I sent a friend to Walmart to price match Officemax's $299.99 and she got it for $249.99 plus tax out the door! GoodLuck

I forgot to mention that I have had this TF300T for over 3 months and it is the best tablet I had used yet. I have tried about every model 10" tablet out there from the Gtablet, to Nextbook to Toshiba Thrive to Acer A500 and this ASUS blows them all out of the water. Now yes there is a TF700T model with the 1080P screen but I was not going to spring for the extra $100 for that as I did not need that. That maybe a kicker for some people who may want the 1080P screen. I absolutely love the keyboard dock and do get almost the full 15 hours of use with both internal tabet and keyboard batteries. Like I said above good luck if you can get if in store for that price otherwise your option is the refurb route on woot for $330 mentioned above. Also for those in the know as soon as you get this tablet home it will upgrade itself to the Jelly Bean.

Not seeing the $249 price, just the $299 price. Very temping with nice cams on it but no USB.

I tried at 2 different walmarts local in south fl, while they did have the tablets in stock, they were selling for full price at $349. Instore or 299 instore with office max price match or 299 through walmart online instore pickup. No sign of $249 or anything stated as clearance. ... I am in the market for this and ordered the 330 woot deal few days ago.Open to any suggestions to getting a new one for 249.99. + best buy $50 keyboard for total 300 in new units.

I own two.one of them the boot loader locked and bricked out.
Asus replaced the board no charge. I am unable to unlock the bootloader now on that one.
It is a good little tablet. New update just this month (possible 4.2 update coming). There is also a nice "Connect Dock" available with Ethernet port and usb ports for keyboard, mouse, gamepad, etc.

@bigjoe87865: Same here in north Atlanta GA suburbs...checked 2 Walmarts. In stock but selling for $349. If we're lucky, they just haven't updated the pricing yet. I know Target's clearance pricing is on a store by store basis.
