I added this deal about two months ago, but now the price has dropped nearly in half. From 49.99 to 26.99. Now the original BG series is more affordable than ever.
If you want to know how the entire craze got started it is easier than ever to find out. Created by TV legend Glen A. Larson, starring Lorne Greene and with special effects by John Dykstra.
I <3 Apollo!!!! sigh
What?! Starbuck is actually a guy!?!?! QUE?!?
As young lad, I struggled mightily over who made my pants more crazy... Cassiopeia or Sheba...
Sheba won, and looking back, that important decision led me to date (then eventually marry) exclusively brunettes.
but I digress... I just bought this... and look forward to chasing my pants some more.

@blakeinspace: Both ladies were attractive in that series, but I was always partial to Lt. Athena played by Maren Jensen. Athena was a great foil for Starbuck.
Of course, at around the same time Larson produced BUCK ROGERS starring Erin Gray as Col. Wilma Deering and a few years later was Larson's KNIGHT RIDER with Patricia McPherson as Bonnie.
Since I was a young teenaged boy at the time I thought my eyes were going to pop out of my head. I'm still amazed how Larson was able to corral some of the most beautiful women from that era and put them on television.
Man, that was a great time to be alive.
Oh! Awesome! I just started watching the remade one a week ago. Looks like I will be watching both!
