Sad. The only size available online is XL. Nice T for July 4th, too. Or any other time you're feeling patriotic. ;-)

Imported. Probably from China. How patriotic!

Way to violate US flag code
"The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery."

Thank you for remembering the flag code.

§176. Respect for flag

No disrespect should be shown to the flag of the United States of America; the flag should not be dipped to any person or thing. Regimental colors, State flags, and organization or institutional flags are to be dipped as a mark of honor.
(d) The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery. It should never be festooned, drawn back, nor up, in folds, but always allowed to fall free. Bunting of blue, white, and red, always arranged with the blue above, the white in the middle, and the red below, should be used for covering a speaker's desk, draping the front of the platform, and for decoration in general.

(i) The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever.
(j) No part of the flag should ever be used as a costume or athletic uniform.

@ctjed: Sadly, I have to reference the "Pirate Code" on this one because that's how it's treated. It's really more of a guideline. And it has been broken more times than I care to count. Often by military and retired military friends of mine. Not saying it's right or wrong, just adding a dose of reality.

vote-for3vote-against

Wrong is wrong, it matters not that it's commonly done. I've seen "proud veterans" set the flag on the ground, or ball it up to put it away. It comes down to values and what kind of a person you are.

vote-for-1vote-against

wow no thanks to all the party poopers in here. i'll wear the flag proudly and as often as i want. on a shirt, cap, wherever. a print of the flag on a shirt is not wearing an actual flag right on my body. you people never wear anything with a US flag on it? that's sadder and more wrong than wearing it and "violating flag code". go somewhere with that

vote-for1vote-against

@w00tgurl: So agree w/you! When I wear flag motif clothing, I am NOT being disrespectful. Proud might be a better word. I also understand that others do not feel as I do.

BTW: I ended up ordering an XL (the only size in stock) yesterday...decided I could wear it as a very roomy nightshirt. Or beach cover-up. I received a shipping notice today. ;-)

@ w00tgurl: Then you have no CLUE what it means to be a patriot. You have no CLUE what the flag symbolizes. You have no connection to any type of national pride at all, you are a Fashionista that cares more about being "trendy" no matter how screwed up it is. You're lucky theres no actual penalty for breaking the flag code, or I'd call the cops on you and everyone else that does this. I could sue you, though.

vote-for2vote-against

@aoviss: TRY RIGHT NOW to sue me you ahole. i dare you. you have no clue about me, and you are NO BETTER than me. you have NO CLUE about being an American - see how that feels to you. get on your soapboax and label me but i'll label you right back since you know NOTHING about me. you have a stick in your butt so no one ever can wear any flag anywhere because you don't like it? like i said, go somewhere else with that because you're as bad as a communist. dumb dumb dumb

This appears to be a difference of age (although I don't actually know that). Videowallart is correct and is either my age, or is knowledgeable of history. Back in the '60's, people were wearing the flag on clothing and being told they were unpatriotic and, well, getting their asses kicked. We have short memories. @aoviss, I agree with you. Somehow people have gotten it in their head that wearing the flag is "cool", so people wear it without much regard to history, and with more regard to being "cool".

vote-for2vote-against

@sdencar: you can wear a shirt with a flag on it for more reasons than just trying to be "cool". i don't see how people like him get off on telling everyone else they can't wear a flag on a shirt or any other item. if anything, wear it loud and proud for whatever reason you feel like
