This is a great little speaker with good sound for how small it is. I ended up getting 2 of them. Giving one as a gift.

vote-for15vote-against

If you sign up, you get $15 off your purchase of $35 or more. In this case, you can buy two! Came out to $38.00 plus $2.85 tax for me for two, which is about $12.93 each!

vote-for7vote-against

I have already gotten 2 credits for $25 off a $35+ order from this place. The prices are high (except some sale items) but with the credits and free shipping I have gotten some good stuff pretty cheap!

vote-for6vote-against

Picked up two - good for the discount. This place didn't let you browse their site the other day without creating a login - seems they listened to the feedback and changed a few things. The prices are hipster chic HIGH and I doubt I'll buy much if it isn't on sale or if I can't use a discount code - but they have got me twice now (they got me the other day for earbuds and got the wife tonight for two speakers). Nice deal!

vote-for10vote-against

This looks almost identical to the monoprice high performance portable speaker that I have. If it's anything like it you'll be blown away by the amount of sound. you can also daisy chain a few together for some really high quality portable sound. I honestly couldn't imagine needing more than two. The monoprice one is 14.96 and would likely come to the same price as this one after shipping and tax.

vote-for3vote-against

found out if you use this promo you can get two of them for $15 shipped, you do have to give them your email but hey its $7/each!!!

edit: the promo is $25 towards a purchase of $35 or more but if you add two of them to your cart your total is $38, with the $25 off comes down to $13 with $2 tax plus free shipping. id say go for it

vote-for3vote-against

If you don't want to deal with mailings and coupons and such here's the link to the monoprice.com version of this speaker. I have four of them and they are great. http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=108&cp_id=10823&cs_id=1082301&p_id=8595&seq=1&format=2

vote-for0vote-against

Ended up cancelling the order because they didn't give me the $25 discount when i signed up with my email

vote-for1vote-against

I got exactly $0 credit when I signed up.

vote-for2vote-against

@nellieshakh: it's $15 when signing up not $25

vote-for7vote-against

@stvfld: I work at VAULT, PM or email me (derek@vau.lt) your email and I will add $20 to your account for the troubles. Our servers are getting hammered right now. Sorry about this!!

vote-for2vote-against

Maybe I didn't understand the directions, but it appeared that I was to get a $25 credit for signing up, however there was no credit when I ordered two of the speakers (total $38.) It's still a good price, but would have been a great value with the credit.

vote-for4vote-against

@johnnylo: I work at VAULT, PM or email me (derek@vau.lt) your email and I will add look at your account. Our servers are getting hammered right now. Sorry about this!!

vote-for1vote-against

I tried to do the same for the $25 credit as stated on their site, but my acct still says $0.00 credits. I was gonna order one for each daughter. Oh well.

I bought a very similar speaker before. I'm very happy with it. Actually, it's exactly the same, except mine is KINIVO brand.

vote-for1vote-against

I didn't get any credit for signing up either.

vote-for1vote-against

@larrym20: Monoprice has a 10% off cupon. CATALOG12

vote-for2vote-against

You can apply the CATALOG12 coupon at Monoprice for 10% off. It's not much, but if you order 2 it came to almost $3 off. Too bad they don't have free S&H.

vote-for2vote-against

Credit worked for me...in for 2

vote-for1vote-against

How do you get a $25 discount? I only see the $15

vote-for1vote-against

I've tried to get the $25 twice and it doesn't seem to work. I did email the guy to see if they can do something on the backend.

vote-for5vote-against

@vaultcom: Thanks for taking care of this so quickly Derek!

vote-for4vote-against

@souka: its $15 sign up for new members, the $25 is a referral promotion from a friend

vote-for4vote-against

@kasigood: I am sorry send me an email, we had some technical issues. derek@vau.lt -

vote-for7vote-against

Thanks to Derek and Don for taking care of it! In for 2

vote-for3vote-against

HEY WOOTERS - US GAYS & GALS OVER HERE AT VAULT ARE HERE FOR YOU. WE ARE EXTREMELY SORRY WE HAD SOME ISSUES AROUND THE CREDITS NOT SHOWING UP FOR A FEW PEOPLE. PLEASE EMAIL ME IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, CONCERNS OR PROBLEMS. WE ARE HERE TO HELP AT LIGHTNING SPEEEEED! THANKS! DEREK@VAU.LT

vote-for3vote-against

Hmmmm, These look like the EXACT Same speakers that I've purchased for 15$ from another source. Although they have a different name, I can guarantee these are available at better prices elsewhere.

vote-for-6vote-against

I just got the Vau.lt order I placed last week for the LSTN earbuds. They are horribly FILTHY, did not come in a retail package, actually appear previously used, stuffed in a satchel and sent out without regard to appearance or condition - and there's no way I am putting these things in my ear. Credit card chargeback to follow - they can eat the chargeback fee and I need to get my wife to cancel today's order!!!!!

I've been around here since 2005 and have hundreds (and hundreds) of woot! purchases and actively purchase 'side deals' like this all the time - fellow woot!ers, I'm warning you - DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MERCHANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If they send out CRAP once they'll do it again and again!! WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

vote-for3vote-against

@gregbowman: Hi Greg, I actually work for VAULT. I want to first off apologize for the condition of LSTN earbuds you received. I'll personally make sure that we take care of your order. I also want to emphasize that we go through a lot of effort to make sure that all products are of the highest quality in our marketplace.

You can email me directly at don@vau.lt and I'll take care of you. Again I apologize for the LSTN earbuds.

vote-for-6vote-against

@donssmith: I emailed Derek, he can forward it to you - woot! should be aware of these practices from you as a seller if they are going to consider having you as an advertiser - you obviously shipped used goods.

My wife has also cancelled (or attempted to cancel) her order from today.

If you would address both concerns, both emails were sent to Derek.

Thanks.

vote-for-6vote-against

Apparently Vau.lt is only working at lightning SPEEEEEED to take your money . . . both emails with our concerns have been sent by myself and my wife (one detailing the issue of the earbuds and the other asking to cancel today's order) to both Derek and forwarded by us to Don per his above post - no reply an hour later from the initial email to Derek (obviously Don got the copies a bit later) . . .

Somehow I'm not at all surprised . . . .

Nice PR move guys addressing the thread - how about addressing the actual issue with the customer that had the problem??

I can't see anything good coming from this merchant - I've given them an opportunity to make it right prior to initiating a chargeback. Nothing so far . . .

Buyer beware here guys . . .

vote-for-5vote-against

I have spoken directly with Vau.lt and the issue has been addressed. Their CEO has explained that they do not warehouse most items themselves and that they are shipped out by individual vendors. Obviously, in the case of the LSTN earbuds, somewhere along the line someone dropped the ball at some point.

I am satisfied with the resolution, but obviously very disheartened with the experience initially.

However, I must say that Vau.lt was willing to go the extra mile to make things right, and that does mean a lot to me!

I don't know that I will order from them again, but I do wish them all the best and I can say that if you do in fact have a concern, it will be handled expeditiously. Hopefully the sale of these speakers will go off without a hitch and they will become a welcomed addition to the woot! community deals.

vote-for4vote-against

@thevance777: care to name the source of the better deal?

vote-for1vote-against

@gregbowman: Once again I am very sorry this happened. As stated VAULT is a marketplace where brands ship & sell directly to customers, we do not buy or warehouse products. We are investigating how this happened and doing everything to vet, curate the best products on the market. We have not had an issue like this before, however due to this problem you had I am implementing a stricter process of approval. We have added a free $100 credit to your account for this problem and we are hopeful you will shop with us again in the near future. Kind Regards- Derek - CEO

vote-for1vote-against

@gregbowman: Greg, sorry to hear you had problems, but mistakes DO happen. That doesn't take away from this being a tremendous deal after you apply the discounts. I got 2 speakers for around $23 and my wife got 3 for around $30 something. If these are as good as they sound, that deal cannot be beat. We will soon see, but I anticipate not having any problems with my order and look forward to hearing these speakers!

By the way Greg, you seem to have a very short fuse if all that posting was because they didn't answer you within an hour! Something tells me that any merchant would not be terribly distraught to lose you as a customer if you don't give them a reasonable opportunity to correct a problem.

vote-for4vote-against

@vaultcom: wow, $100 for throwing a fit? Nice.

vote-for-8vote-against

Yeah, $100 that I didn't ask for and I'll never use . . . I have no intention of ever shopping with the merchant again.

As for your interpretation of my throwing a fit, well, you're entitled to your opinion, everyone knows what they're like, and everyone has one (check your backside).

I knew the CEO was giving me the credit before he posted that he did so, I didn't want others taking the guy for a ride and seeing if he'd hand out credits, so I didn't say anything about it. I didn't ask for it, I told him to "do whatever he wanted" but that based on my experience I wouldn't shop with them again. Obviously, there was a pretty BIG issue with these headphones for there to be an offer as such extended to make things right.

By the way, these guys at vau.lt are the same guys that were part of buy.com before they were sold to Rakuten, or so they claim (according to the CEO, Derek). If I remember correctly, buy.com has horror story after horror story re: customer service and were the ...

vote-for-8vote-against

one merchant that you could count on for people stopping what they were doing and warning other people about when they would pop up on a woot! side deal.

As for my throwing a "fit" - the vau.lt service personnel were asserting themselves into the thread and made claims about lightning speeeed when it comes to service and replies. I simply used the forum to engage them and when they proved to be less than "lightning fast" I called them out on it. That isn't throwing a fit - that's simply pointing out that they had yet to reply in a manner in which was consistent with their claims in this thread.

Had you received the product in the same manner as I did from them you would have been equally upset (or, as they claim, from one of their vendors), It was a (verifiable) co-incidence that my order arrived this afternoon after I had chosen to re-order.

vote-for-8vote-against

@karlsworld: It is only a deal if the vendor they do business with can be held to some type of standards. In the case of my order, that failed. I do wish you all the luck in the world with your order and hope you have a positive experience. However, as the merchant vau.lt does not warehouse and directly inspect or ship any merchandise and they do not have any direct control over the quality or procedures of their partner vendors, it cannot be assured by vau.lt that you will . . .

Again - was satisfied with their resolution PRIOR to the offer of any credit - WHICH I POLITELY REFUSED twice before relenting and letting him issue. I guarantee you I won't use it. The experience I had with the headphones was that distasteful.

Have a great day!

vote-for4vote-against

@gregbowman: Never heard such a cry baby and this much over reaction from anyone.

vote-for-7vote-against

@nanaejt: Well, whaaaaaaa - guess you've never read a woot! forum then - check out the kids.woot tablet debacle if you want to see some real cry babies . . .

So what, you'd rather I not warn anyone that I had a transaction with the merchant that was abhorrently terrible? The product they sent was / is a health hazard.

Oh, let me guess, you you must work (or astroturf) for vau.lt . . . tell you what, PM me your address and I'll send you the headphones they sent me and when you're done vomiting from the stench you tell me if I over-reacted.

But, hey - keep the thread going, all this free publicity is good for vau.lt I'm sure.

Look - the guy made it right and over-reached in doing so - the difference between me and others is I won't take his $100. Bet you would.

vote-for2vote-against

@gregbowman: I have a clever idea :) why don't you auction your $100 credit to someone here, that would be awesome! Have them pay you via paypal and I will commit to transferring that credit to them. Just provide me the name and email they used to create their VAULT account. I am sure someone would pay you $30-$50+ bucks for it.

vote-for1vote-against

@vaultcom: You're welcome to withdraw the credit from my account. My intention was never to profit by pointing out a problem . . . As I mentioned to you when we spoke, I wasn't looking for a handout, simply a solution to the problem, which you were more than willing to provide. Thank you.

I'll tell you what, I have a MUCH better idea - use the credit yourself and shop in my name (avoid buying the LSTN headphones - LOL) and donate whatever you buy to a local children's charity. That'll make us both feel good. Now there's a win-win that if you followed through with would make up for any hard feelings about the headphone issue and do some good for someone that really needs it.

Thanks again! By the way, all of the people I spoke with within the vau.lt organization were incredibly professional and helpful - so I am sure they will have some good ideas on where a few items could do the most good.

vote-for0vote-against

@vaultcom: Just make sure please that if you decide to use the credit for charity that you inspect the items you order prior to giving them away, I'd hate for someone to have the same experience I did . . . but I am sure that more of your vendors have better controls in place than others - maybe I was just unlucky in the draw with the LSTN product.

Wish you guys all the best! Thanks again!

vote-for1vote-against

I rarely comment but I have to admit that there must have been something really very wrong with those headphones for the guy to go off like that and then get such a large credit. I've read all the comments from both sides, yes, the guy whined about it a little and should have given more time for them to reply but also that CEO made a huge boner move by giving the credit at all and then a bigger boner move in announcing it. There had to be a big problem. The guy that got the credit is being gracious & saying use it for charity. Maybe Vault should just drop 100 in the mail to a charity in his name and call it good. I will say this though - if handing out 100 buck credits is like water off a duck's back then this site is grossly overpriced. 100 bucks must equal like what 10 bucks in actual product cost. Take the guy's credit away & give it to charity & be done with it. You'll both win - he's right. And then we won't have to put up with any more comments about it and you all can move on.
