Be warned this release is another album that has fallen victim to the Loudness War. The remastering is pretty much horrible changing every sound level. Nirvana is known for their quiet to loud sound shift......well that is removed in this release! It is LOUD LOUD AND LOUD with no level variation at all. Sound layering of vocals, guitar and drums have been completely changed. After listening you walk away saying "I don't know what I just listened to but that wasn't Nirvana".

If you are a fan do yourself a favor and stick with your old album, this release will only disappoint!

Anyone know what the bitrate is for this? Google's is 320kbps, and I can't find the info on Amazon's page anywhere.

@mtw1057: I purchased and downloaded this already so if they aren't going to honor it then I'm not sure how they are going to get the music back from me.

Great deal on an album full of songs that honestly its taken me a decade to be able to listen to again. Don't you love how radio can completely ruin a song (or whole album in this case) by playing it over and over and over and over.....

I never thought that I would buy this album again. All of the bonus stuff makes it awesome, though. I'm in for one.

Awesome find. I have been waiting for this versions price to drop. Though I never expected it to drop this low.
