Uhh.. yeah.. didnt we just go through this with another coupon with that disclaimer recently?

vote-for0vote-against

Says print out. I guess you can't then xerox the printout?

vote-for3vote-against

Don't see a problem with copies. I tried it from two different browsers, and it came up with the same serial number on both.

will let everyone know the viability of this coupon after the midnight screening of Dark Knight Rises tomorrow!

Just got one of these for my birthday - this looks to be photoshopped to remove the "Happy Birthday"& the name and AMC Stubs card number.

But - the UPC is the same, so YMMV....

The problem with this is I'd have to go to an actual AMC theater. Call me crazy, but when I want to pay a big chunk of money for a movie I actually want to see a movie. Not 25 minutes of commercials/previews and a movie.

My husband used one of these about a month ago, with the birthday part attached, and they didn't ask for an ID. Then I used the actual one I got in my email for my birthday, during my birthday month, and they didn't ask for an ID. That's not to say every AMC or every employee won't ask, but it's probably worth a try.

At AMC, if you don't want to pay concession prices, you don't have to. you could take you're own food and beverages in with you.
its not something that they advertise, for obvious reasons, but its company policy that outside food and drink (non-alcoholic) are allowed.

Just please make sure you clean your mess, I am sure they don't want to clean up your dinner!

@alfman: Source? I know I've smuggled food and drink in, but I've never been seen with it. A link to actual policy would be great if available.

@alfman: They changed this policy a few years ago, and now do ban outside food.

vote-for2vote-against

@alfman: I have to agree with @jresowski. Our local AMC has a sign prominently displayed at the ticket desk that prohibits outside food and drink.

I used one of these three weeks ago. They asked If I was a Stubs member, I just said no it cost two much to renew. No problem...

I've used at least 4 of the originally posted ones and haven't had a single issue or a request for ID.

@alfman
Of course they ban outside food and drink. The majority of ticket charges go to the movie studios, not the theater. So they make most of their money selling concessions. Bringing in your own food is like going to a bar and bringing your own booze.

I stand corrected. sorry for the mis-information.
just goes to show how long its been since I've gone to an AMC. last time I went was for The Dark Knight back in 2008. I happily noshed my Big Mac while watching batman wreak havoc.
Since them, I've been going to the Rave theaters, as their tickets are on average $5 cheaper...
