71% Off Phoenix Down Overstuffed Double Cover White Goose Down and Feather Pillows
coupon code: OSWOOT
We checked with the company, it’s okay to use the Pacific Pillows near other oceans as well.
Is this genuine phoenix down, or that nasty imitation stuff?
@jsfs: This stuff is guaranteed to bring Aeris back to life.
When searching for more information, I got this as first result?

It is that perfect pillow for getting a good night's sleep and reviving your fallen party members.
See, that is why I love Woot!! Anywhere else I make Final Fantasy VII jokes they go unnoticed. Thanks Woot, I feel like less of a nerd now.
I wonder how good these are compared to Pacific Coast Feather pillows. I've had mine over a year, and they're just as good as the day that I bought them.
In for one. Beats military issued pillows by a mile
The English language is weird. When you see a sentence that contains the words "White Goose Down and Feather Pillows" does that mean the feathers came from white geese or that the pillow is white?
@cengland0: I guess it depends on if you read it as "White, goose down and feather, pillows." So I read it as White pillows made of goose down and feathers.
Of course, if you read it as White goose down, and feather pillows, then it might be different. Good question though!
Doubles as an instant kill for any undead you may face!
Alright, I'm taking a chance on them. In for 2 and I'll let everyone know how they are when they show up.
Discount is applied on the checkout page (And you can apply it before entering your card info).
The queen pillows show up as $129.99 for a set of two (Seriously?!!) and with the discount come out to $37.69 which seems a lot more reasonable.
Pricing basically comes across a bit shady, like Amazons so-called "List Price".
Shipping was great at a Woot-Like flat $5.00 even ordering two sets for a total of 4 queen pillows.
I'm out, I need one Standard size pillow.
@bingo969: I bought the same pillows as you. I'm curious about them too and cannot wait until they arrive.
One curious thing is about the stuffing itself. What percentage is goose feathers? Looking at other sites that sell Phoenix Down pillows, they can be 25%, 50%, 75% but none of those were called overstuffed. One overstuffed site claimed to have 95% feathers.
So what percentage feathers are these pillows and what is the other part made of? Goose beaks and claws?
Bought these about a month or 2 ago & they are amazing!
Stay away! Anything with the word "feather" in it is not 100% down. You will eventually have feathers poking your face.
@cengland0: It means they have mixed quality down and crappy feathers to make a mediocre product. Go to bed bath and beyond an get a 100% down pillow. You'll spend $20 bucks more, but it's worth it.
Manufactured by: Phoenix Down ®
Fill: 95% White Goose Feather/ 5% White Goose Down
Inner Covering: 233 Thread Count Polyester Cover
Outer Cover: 233 Thread Count 100% Cotton Cover
I pulled the trigger on 4 Queen's. At ~$18 (after shipping $19.30) per pillow I feel the risk is worth it. Any decent pillow is going to cost you upwards of $30 or more anyway.
Grossly inflated, then drastically reduced for 95% Feather Pillow.
What's the conversion rate from dollars to gil? Pretty sure the Midgar shop has a better deal on them.
@waiting4nextyear: 1 Gil = 0.04545 USD
There is a little discussion on this here:
Just bought one as my current pillow is now ragged. I hope it holds up!
Must be expired as I can't get past "NEXT".
@billdonohoe: Well then. It should only take a short time before it's revived.
Ahahahahaha. I slay me.
Would not recommend these at all if you're in trouble without support, they simply don't give you enough health back.
I would never buy anything from this co again, they sell junk
A tip when buying down pillows - if the item specs don't mention the "fill power," there's pretty much zero chance the pillow itself contains any significant percentage of actual down.
In the case of these pillows - they're only 5% down. That makes them barely worth the discounted "woot special" price, let alone their stated normal price.
What you are buying is really a FEATHER pillow - not a DOWN pillow. World of difference between the two. And when the shafts of the feathers are poking you through the "double layer" cover, AND your protective cover, AND your pillowcase - you'll start to understand the difference.
I wouldn't put these on my bed if they were free.
I might toss them on the guest bed when certain relatives are spending the night... but only if they were free to begin with. LOL
I bought two different pillows about a month ago from this place.
It was NOT worth it.
Received my pillows yesterday. Nice size, good heavy feel to them. Each pair of pillows came in a big zippered bag which will be nice for storing the extra set and old pillows for spares.
Threw them in the dryer for a couple minutes to refluff after shipping.
Slept on mine last night and thought it was very nice and comfortable. Didn't get a real "dead" spot after sleeping on it for a while like my old feather pillow did.
I've never used any higher-end full down pillows. All my feather pillows have usually been something I picked up at Target or a similar type store - not dirt cheap but certainly nothing expensive either.
For me at least, they are quite nice and comfortable.
One note - I have what I always presumed to be fairly standard sized pillowcases and they do not fit the queen size pillows I got. Guess I have to get specific queen size pillow cases now too.
