I'm in for two, my wife goes through earbuds like tic tacs... Actually, she's had her current pair 6 months, a new record!

I found them to be over rated for sound quality and really heavy and uncomfortable to wear.

Should be noted that after shipping, if you have an Amazon Prime account you're better off clicking the link to amazon on their site. Same headphones, but you get them with 2 shipping for .96 cents extra.

"Shipping From Rancho Cucamonga, CA" Cucamonga! LOL.

Sorry...

Lifehacker also gave a good "best-bang-for-the-buck" review of these a little while back: http://lifehacker.com/5927570/the-monoprice-8320s-are-the-best-earbuds-youll-find-under-10

I really like these. I like having an extra set in my gym bag and an extra in the car. I have found it pays to have the extra set and not have to buy a set at a convience store in a pinch. These are a good buy.

I picked up at pair of these based on review and was very disappointed. They sounded exactly like what they are...a cheap pair of headphones. Sound was muddy with a very small sound stage. Changed the cheap standard tip with a set of double flange tips that create a good seal and sound was still disappointing. The fit also was uncomfortable and awkward. Considering the buds they get compared to they were a bust IMO. For a cheap pair of buds I guess they are ok, but honestly I think the cheap buds that come with most devices perform just as well, if not better.

Where do you find the shipping on these?

I looked last night but couldnt figure it out... must be missing something.

Thanks in advance.

I am one of those CRAZY headphone nuts. I have owned about 20 pairs in the last year or so. I need help.

Anyways, even with all the High End Ear/headphones I have tried. The 8320 remains one of my favorites. It is so smooth, so neutral. Easy to listen to these for hours with no fatigue.

I use the Comply T-400 tips with mine.

OH, not on sale, but there is now a "Black" Version of these as well.

I bought these a while back and was not impressed at all. Maybe it's just my ear shape, but they sounded pretty bad and had almost no bass. They were also kind of awkward to wear. Plus the cord tangled like crazy.

Bought two of these last time since they were so cheap. I'll keep them as a backup pair. I can't speak to their quality because they're so enormous I can't listen to them for more than 5-10 minute stretches. If I could go back in time I wouldn't buy them, rather have a pair that fits better and doesn't sound as good than a pair I can;'t wear at all. Hopefully they fit you guys better

i have 2 sets. these easily compare to $40 earphones. the over the ear cable setup might throw some people off but i feel they are a much better fit that way and do not get pulled out of your ears.

you should buy a few sets, they are worth it, if only for backup buds.

These seem like a good deal...I just wish they had an L-shaped jack.

vote-for2vote-against

Ugly as sin but sound pretty darn good. I'm not sure, but this seems like regular price anyway...if not, they're usually less then $10 shipped all the time. Monoprice is the bomb!

I replaced the tips with some I had and they are far and away the best earbuds I've owned. WELL worth the money.

For anyone sitting on the fence, do it. They have excellent sound and perfect bass for everyday use. I listen to everything from rock to classical to dubstep. These sound great for all genres.

Ditto on the small tip size and large nautilus shell body size.

bought two of these and works amazing

Got several pairs of these - excellent sound quality (especially at this price level), and the fabric-covered cables mean they rarely get tangled like plastic-coated ones do, which is definitely a plus!

@wseren01: I've made my monoprice headphones retractable. You can google "DIY retractable headphones" and there's an instructables post about how to get it done(it involves taking apart a retractable usb cable and putting it back together). It's a fun project, but also a little frustrating, but since I did it, my headphone cables never tangle up.

I think these have become over-hyped. If you go into the purchase expecting $5 earbud quality, then these will surely impress you. If you go in reading all the reviews and expecting $200 sound coming out of these you will likely be disappointed. They are very good for the price but are not miracle buds. All that being said, buy one and try them out or to have a spare set!

Finally bought a set of these after seeing so many good reviews... very very disappointed, empty lifeless sound.

I've found spending 20 bucks on decently reviewed sets on amazon to be much more effective.

vote-for2vote-against

Listening with my pair right now...good sound. However, not good for working out; the cloth wires shock me when I get sweaty, and they don't stay in my (admittedly radar-dish sized) ears.

Tangle worse than others as well; still not dissapointed I have them, but will probably spring for better next time.

@l4m3r: According to the monoprice facebook page, these now come with 3 sets of tips.

vote-for2vote-against

Must be me but I bought these in the past based on the reviews and was not impressed. Switched out the tips to get a better fit etc and still not as good as the reviews suggested.. They are cheap enough that you should give them a try though to see what you think.
This review on Youtube suugests I'm wrong as well.

hands down the best budget earbuds, buy these if you need some they're really good.

vote-for5vote-against

I got a pair of these before Christmas, and they're fantastic (especially for the price). One tip that I read elsewhere - the stock tips might not fit your ears perfectly, but you can swap out tips from other earbuds to find a good fit. I'm using the ones from a broken pair of Skullcandies right now on these buds.

@rune: Awesome review. Made my purchase based on the recommendation, and can't wait to be blown away but <$10 headphones.

Performance to price ratio is really high on these-- same goes for their DJ headphones (rebranded Kickers).

Gah, I just ordered 4 of these mere hours ago! I guess I'm only out a few bucks though, they were still under $7 each.

I already owned a pair, I'm actually just now replacing my set that disappeared from my desk over the holidays. They have surprisingly decent sound- I think they have the 4th highest rank on head-fi in the "in-ear/universal fit" category, alongside headphones that cost hundreds of dollars. The fit is also nice, the large part of the buds rest nicely in your ears, so you don't need to wedge the tips so tightly into your ear canal.

Know that they only come with one set of tips, sort of on the small side.
