I purchased this item a couple month ago for my Cubicle and it is Awesome!!! You can control it left and right as well and up and down in all 360 degrees.

It does do a little sound when it moves and it charges up before it launches. But the good part is that as soon as I hit launch it spins up and all my co-workers duck.

I do recommend getting a USB extension since the cord is only 3' long.

Hey for $9.99 great fun at the office.

are the darts the same size as nerf darts? or do you have to buy special darts for it?

@corysterrett: Not sure I do not have any nerf items. It's just a foam dart with a hole in it. I am sure you could modify anything to be shoot as long as it would fit in there. Or heck even make a hole if needed.

I own the missile launcher version of this. Two thumbs up! You can shoot out of your office and down the hall. With a little luck, you can even bounce off the wall and really hit someone.

Not nerf darts though. These are a little smaller, but you can find plenty of replacements online.

This would be cooler if it had built in video - you could run it full on remote.

Also, I wonder if this uses air or spring? This could be fun to chop up and modify (wouldn't be that hard to stick a pin-hole cam in it either..)

Just looked at the pictures, looks like this is just the USB Missile Launcher in a different body. It holds 3 small missiles - I was thinking it shot one ping-pong ball sized object :D

@drchops: It uses air and it charges up for a sec before it shoots. I did look into the video camera ones before I got this one but the price was just too high at $42.50 + $5.99 shipping I would rather get 5 regular ones for all my co-workers.
