looks like a good deal to me! not sure if it's somehow different than http://deals.woot.com/deals/details/e819d3f5-8f1e-4919-961f-179aeb3f55a9/planet-earth-the-complete-collection-blu-ray though.. that says $99 MSRP whereas this was only $35.

Either way, from Walmart or Discovery, it's a great deal (I'd go with this deal, naturally...). I believe, upon further research, that they are selling the same thing. Great documentary, I own it and highly recommend it.
This one is from Discovery Channel and narrated by Sigourney Weaver, the other one is from BBC and narrated by David Attenborough. I prefer the Attenborough narration but this deal looks like a good one.
@birderzeb: I have the Attenborough version on HD-DVD (yeah, yeah) and it truly is amazing footage. This is the lowest price I've seen for this on Blu-Ray.
Is there a difference between footage in the Attenborough and Weaver versions?

My understanding is that this was originally a BBC production. I guess when the Discovery Channel got the rights to show this in the US they were afraid that Americans would have a hard time with a British accent. So they had Sigourney Weaver re-narrate.
But it's the same jaw-dropping footage. Seriously - this is the stuff HDTV was made for.
They had this on Amazon for $35 with free shipping on Friday, glad I didn't buy it, great find!!!
No difference in video, just the voice over work. If you are a fan of the series from watching it on the Discovery Channel, you might prefer this version, especially for the price!

Planet Earth is some of the best nature footage out there. There is no difference between the David Attenborough version and the Sigourney Weaver versions other than the actual voice doing the narration. The footage is definitely beautiful andthe series is definitely worth watching, especially at this price.
