@kc5rbq: Looks like things are available to me.

vote-for4vote-against

@kc5rbq: Gotta use that F5. I have no problems here.

oh yeah...do not forget cowboomer.com. It is helpful. You can items straight from there.

Yah, 32GB TF300 right now.

What's included: BOX. Whats not included: Battery, Screen, Charger, Warranty....

vote-for0vote-against

Prices are/were comparable to eBay. This deal i think is dead?

vote-for2vote-against

Missed an Asus TF700 for $300. I'm about F5'd out trying to find another one...

@nate51595: I just clicked and there was Xoom for $149.99...it is still alive.

vote-for2vote-against

Too many iPads... If I wanted to spend that much, I'd buy something new.

vote-for2vote-against

Luckily cowboom will cancel an order. I picked up a TF300, then saw a TF700 a few minutes later. Score.

Weak. Some iPad lover down-voted me! If you love iPads so much, maybe you should buy 'em all so we can get to the good stuff.

Seriously though, who is spending $350 on a used, scratched tablet that is missing cords and stuff? Too much risk at that price. Do they do returns?

vote-for2vote-against

@bsmith1: Cowboom is EXCELLENT at handling returns. That's one thing I wouldn't worry about.

vote-for2vote-against

@bsmith1: The return policy is actually excellent. Any time in the 1st 30-days simply go to your account and click RMA. Give a reason (including "Changed My Mind") and a pre-paid label is printed. No contacting anyone. No permission needed. Choice of exchange (availability dependent) or refund. There is nothing to lose so I have no idea what you mean by "too much risk". You can also buy a warranty from them if 30-days is not enough on a pre-owned item.

@morriea: and @rrussell:
I have never ordered from cowboom, so this is good info! Thanks! I was just saying spending $350 for something you don't know the exact condition of is risky. (goes for any refurb retailer) First 30 days is ok, but you never know how many times that iPad has been dropped by the previous owner. It may not have many scratches on the outside, but the insides could be shaken up a bit. Internal stuff may not fail until after the 30 days. That's where the $350 vs $150 risk comes into play.

@bsmith1: FWIW I bought a pair of ASUS netbooks from them not too long ago. There was an issue with my CC and impatience, and I managed to end up buying three pair.

I called them and within about 10 minutes I had it all straightened out. Both netbooks arrived a week later, in EXACTLY the shape they described - one even still had that plastic film stuff over it they come with when new. They work great, I am happy camper.

Now if only another TF700 would come up :)

vote-for1vote-against

@bsmith1: This is an iPad-centric sale, which is different from most of these FLASH events. . I am glad that I was on it at 2AM when it started. Almost all Android then at wonderful prices.

vote-for1vote-against

So now everything is working; I don't know why I had trouble earlier. I'd bring it up and then it would say "No longer available" and then sit there without loading the next deal. oh well....

vote-for1vote-against

@kc5rbq: That would have been that ONE item. People are FAST to add to cart, so it says that. You have to be fast on the F5 in that case. It drives me crazy, but people will add it to cart, then check to see if they want it. If not, they just remove it. It sometimes makes it difficult on people trying to check, then add.

Cowboom runs these FLASH sales on different things quite often. Laptops, iPods, Gaming Systems, and more. It takes practice to get exactly what you want. cowboomer.com is helpful on these madhouse FLASH sales.
