In for one. My buddy approved of them. Said he uses the same drives for his home server that they use for these externals. My current external is failing.

I've owned one for over a year with no issues. Transfer rates are stable and speedy enough for daily use. This is around the price I got mine for, and after formatting it turned out to 1.6~1.7 TB of space which is decent enough. The design is nice and allows for decent heat displacement and the led feature on the underbody isn't over the top and a decent way to show activity.

Well it says European power cord (which would be 220v). So you'll need an adapter to plug it in. That is if it will run on standard 120v current. Doesn't say.
