TARGET IN-STORES ONLY:

This week if you buy a Hasbro game (over $10) you can get a FREE card game (either Scrabble Slam or Monopoly Deal).

Many stores have put their Pictureka Flipper game (usually $15-$20) on 75% off super clearance. My store had it for $5.24, others had it down to $3.28. However, the computer system still considers it a "qualifying purchase" since the original price was over $10.

Without any trouble you can get one of the card games and Pictureka for about $3-$5.

If you want the EXTREME DEAL, just look for one of the card game packages with a yellow star burst in the top-right corners that says "$5 OFF COUPON INSIDE" Sure enough, in the box is a yellow card for $5 off a dozen Hasbro games including, you guessed it, Pictureka.

Bring it to the register, have them scan Pictureka, then the card game. The subtotal is $5.70, give the coupon, and you only pay the tax of $0.70!

I've personally done 3 times and handed out free games to family and neighbors.

I have been looking at getting Scrabble Slam. Can't beat .70! Plus a gift of the other game too (not sure I'd keep it, but would make a good gift). Can't wait to try this!

Not a farewell, just a forced redirect.

It's true, Local.Woot is no longer, but please don't despair.

Never-ending savings are still to be found on Deals.Woot each and every day, so come on in. Don't think of it as a time for tears. Think of it as a way to bring us all closer together under one roof.

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
