These are only good for the one time use. No matter how you clean them they will clog afterwards.

@elveez: Thanks for your input. I did notice that some reviews mentioned you must dilute the paint or it comes out in 'splats', or something like that. Maybe it could be 'cleaned' it by running it w/water after you're done painting. Or not. :-/

@gmwhit: I diluted the paint and tried to clean it up with hot water only... It worked the second day, but the spraying was not even close to the first time - very uneven...

It might be worth buying it if you need to paint something like shutters or outdoor chairs like I did, I should have just painted it all in one day!

@elveez: Can you run a paint thinner through it immediately after use or is that against the recommendations?

@kinderdm: Not sure, I only used water-based paint...

I have this sprayer, I bought it on amazon last spring for repainting wrought iron rails and painting a table. I used a quart of latex paint with 2 ounces of water to dilute it just like the can of paint recommends for a sprayer. I adjusted the controls on the sprayer a little bit to get the right spray and pressure and it came out great. I cleaned it immediately after I was done painting by following the wagner instructions. Basically just requires taking some pieces off and cleaning them with water. I have used it since cleaning it and it works fine. If you miss cleaning certain parts thoroughly, it can have some problems. Go over it well.
