Refurbished Acer Monitors Starting at $69.99 + Free Shipping
Because if you’re just reading code, why does the monitor have to be brand new?
Hey everyone! Here to answer any questions on this deal for a bit. We'll be back online in a few hours as well if we miss your question. Happy wooting!
I bought an Acer monitor probably at least 4-5 years ago and still love it today.
I too have an Acer monitor and have had it for 5 years. It's never given me problems. It's by no means a Cadillac, but it's definitely not a Cavalier either
There are some really good deals here. I might just have to move up to a 27"...
@acerebay: random question, but what capacitors does the backlight control circuit use on an AL2223W? They popped, and are the ONLY thing wrong with my Acer panel...
@anorion: Checking on those details now and will get back to you as soon as I have more info!
Are these refurbed by Acer or a third party?
In for one. $70 shipped for a 20" Acer is not bad
@xxmerlinxx: The listings I looked at all said Manufacturer Refurbished.
This is "Starting at $69.99" and the single monitor at that price is "Acer S2 Series 20-inch Widescreen LED Monitor" and is free standard shipping.
@cengland0: The Acer P206HL 20" Widescreen LED-Backlit Monitor - Black is also $69.99
I have one of Acer's first LCD monitors from 2001 sporting 800x600 resolution. Still works like a champ!
Agree with firebirdude -- Just got the Acer 23-inch Widescreen LED Monitor 1080p | S231HL.
Would typically expect to pay $130-$150 for a refurb in this size/config. category.
Comes with a 90 day warranty, and if my memory serves me, you have that window of time to determine if want to buy a Squaretrade extended warranty (which would be the only extended warranty I would ever consider-they stand out in a category filled with schysters)
Other Bonus -- Free Shipping
@xxmerlinxx: These monitors are all refurbished by a third party w/25+ years of experience in technology repair.
Anyone know which (if any) of these have svideo/composite inputs? The listings don't say, and I need it to talk to my original xbox (for xbmc & sling) replacing an old monster crt..
I know its a long shot but I thought I'd ask :) looking up each model and downloading the manual just to view 1 page is getting really old, and it doesn't seem to be listed on the web pages anywhere (neither ebay nor acer)
Just picked one up. Thanks!
@anorion: We don't have the specific capacitor details for your exact monitor, but it sounds like you're in the market for a repair kit. LCDalternatives sells capacitor replacement kits and can walk you through the process: http://lcdalternatives.com/Repair-Kit,-Acer-AL2223W,-LCD-Monitor,-Capacitors-P1679241.aspx. Hope that helps!
@acerebay: Wow, thanks! Exactly what I need! You rock!
I'm must say I'm pretty tempted..
Again i thank you as i went with the Acer P206HL 20" Widescreen LED-Backlit Monitor - Black . 70 bucks is not bad and father's day is coming. My wallet dislikes you though.
Call me a dummy, But do these monitors have HDMI ports? The only I checked did not say.
Thanks.
@terminater4050: DVI ports are better.
Got one of the Acer 27" Widescreen LED Monitors | (H274HL bmd) from here late last night for $190 total with tax after checking out all the reviews and finding very few negative comments. Notice that model is no longer listed. Glad I didn't wait. Looking forward to upgrading from my 21".
