Looks like Woot's hired a new kopyriter.

"That’s not the roar of the crowd you here." I think that "hear" is the word you were looking for.

I got one a few weeks back and it works great!

vote-for8vote-against

Got this a couple of months ago and I like it. It was very easy to install and it seems like it has pretty solid construction and will last a while. I don't really take advantage of the removable shower head much, but I suppose it could come in handy at some point.

vote-for-13vote-against

Was wondering does it make hard water soft?

vote-for-14vote-against

I purchased one 2 weeks ago...it's total junk! Cheap plastic and the stream of water output totally sucks! Save your money!

JUNK JUNK JUNK!

vote-for59vote-against

beware!!!! I got one of these for the wife 2 months ago, and I haven't gotten any since...

vote-for23vote-against

@jokerman: just take out that plastic washer that the environmentalists have forced every manufacturer to use (which limits the flow of water).

Even the cheapest shower head can pour like a cloud burst.

vote-for17vote-against

Don't do what I do and see the thick neoprene washer and think "that's got to be the flow restrictor" and throw it away before you see the hard plastic piece with three pinholes. Some teflon tape and a quarter turn with some vice grips did make losing that thick washer a non issue.

vote-for3vote-against

I got one the last time around and think it is great. I did however, remove the flow restrictor that came with it and installed an adjustable one to replace it.

vote-for2vote-against

I think this is fate. I was thinking about this woot last night as I was showering...

vote-for13vote-against

Bought one and love it. Easy to install and seems durable. Just about the only metal in the entire construction is the flexible hose going from the shower pipe to the shower head. BUT...it's a nice quality hose and the shower handle and head feel pretty solid even for plastic.

It has good pressure and can push pretty good volume if you install it without any kind of water restricters. Most of the settings are fairly gentle despite the flow rate...the only one that has any kind of good solid pressure behind it is the massage setting which just blasts out a steady stream about an inch and a half wide.

Worth every bit of the $20 you'll pay for it after shipping.

The suction cup is fairly useless..you can stick it at just about any level you want in the shower but it's not adjustable so it just sprays out at pretty much a 90 degree angle to your shower wall.

Crack-resistant Nut. Seriously.

Got this during a woot off a few months ago. I love it-great for cleaning the shower and when washing the dog. Also great when I want to rinse off after working out without getting my hair or makeup messed up. Husband installed it in 5 minutes.

vote-for5vote-against

Does anyone know if the clip part is plastic or metal? My last one (not this style) was plastic and broke in a week.

vote-for9vote-against

I also got one a few weeks ago and I like it. I took out the flow restrictor. On the outside of the box, that the showerhead came in, it had a sticker on the side panel that said KOHL'S $49.99.

vote-for7vote-against

my husband and i both got one a few weeks ago, so far so good. installed in minutes, but definitely take the water restricter out. i like the suction cup for hands-free ass washing.

@tesla33: I just saw this Woot and the kopy makes my teeth itch. And I assure you, I am no afeet snob or even a grammer poleece.

vote-for3vote-against

I was also among the ones who bought this a couple weeks ago... to replace the showerhead in our smallish stall-style shower. Very easy to install. Seems really durable, especially the hose. The price was excellent. I haven't removed the water restrictor yet, but I think I'll do that pretty soon.

vote-for1vote-against

eye here ya. isle bye to of them.

vote-for1vote-against

What is so special about this that Kohl's would charge $49? I've seen similar ones in discount stores for about $15. As for the flow restrictor, my $17.99 removable massage showerhead (like this one) has great flow and pressure despite being flow restricted. The complaint seems to indicate that this is poorly designed because a good showerhead mixes air and water in the right combination to build pressure despite having its flow restricted. You'd get less water but because the pressure is so great, you wouldn't notice.

@kamikazeken: Are you not getting any because:
1) She hates this so much that she's boycotting you, or...
2) She loves this so much that she doesn't need you...?

If #2, at least the shower head doesn't need batteries. :)

vote-for3vote-against

I bought this from Woot! a few weeks ago and I enjoy it immensely.

The instructions are clear and installation is very simple and easy.

I took out the flow restriction cap even before the first use so I cannot speak to what flow is like with the cap. Water flow is terrific and combined with the large shower head have shaved a couple of minutes off of my showering time.

vote-for4vote-against

I bought 3 a little while back. They're real easy to install - left the flow restrictor in on my daughter's shower as she spends ages in there but removed it for the other 2. I'm happy with them all.

vote-for1vote-against

THIS IS A GREAT SHOWER HEAD!!! I've bought 2 now and am think seriously of buying 2 more for backups!!! It's easy to install and has GREAT water pressure! Don't pass up on this! GREAT PRICE AND GREAT PRODUCT!!!

vote-for-1vote-against

wife says "this is neet and dont need batteries"

vote-for-2vote-against

@kamikazeken: it works good for dual play ....opps I mean dual showering

vote-for3vote-against

I got one a few weeks ago and just put it in....WAY better than the cheap plastic one that Walmart sells for over $27. ...in for another.

vote-for1vote-against

I like the shower head, but after a week of use the hose is leaking!

vote-for1vote-against

I bought one the last time around. We love it. we left the water pressure regulator in because our town has great water pressure. Our hot water lasts longer which means we arent wasting hot water and this shower head regulates the flow better. The wifey loves the fact that she can rinse the shower better when she cleans it and when we wash the dog in the shower it is so much easier to rinse the pup off. We didnt have any problems with the parts (so far) installed everything by hand, no tools except to take off the old shower head. Worth every penny!

vote-for1vote-against

I got one when it was on regular woot a little while back and I like it so I'm getting another one for my other bathroom. The settings are nice. I use the middle setting for regular showers, the soak for shampoo removal and the jet for ass blasting. Works well. Installation needed no tools once I got the old head off. That extra clip is completely useless though for a small shower. We'll see if it's worth anything in a tub shower.

vote-for1vote-against

Love this shower head! I have very low water pressure, and it works perfectly. And you can't beat the price!

vote-for2vote-against

I have like 3 different hand helds, A Grohe and two Hansgrohe's. But I didn't have the shower arm piece and hose, so I bought this just for those two pieces, and it sucks so bad, I mean no real surprise, but the water leaks and drips out of the hose and holder even with Teflon tape. I would save the $15 and go buy a legit kit from Fergusons.

vote-for2vote-against

I got one of these last month from woot. It works great and installed in seconds. Like a previous comment, I too removed the flow restriction washer and all settings are powerful. The hose is plenty long enough for 2 to share and it looks great on the hanger, which extends about a foot out into the shower. I got my first one for 9.99 with a coupon but I'm in for another for the guest bathroom as well... woot confidently this is a good buy.

So, is there a water restricter? And if so, how can I remove it?

I need pressure! haha

vote-for3vote-against

We tried taking out the water flow regulator as well, but then we ran out of hot water far too quickly. So husband chiseled out the holes in the regulator, making them a little larger, and it works far better now. It's a just fine shower head, good for the price, but not particularly high quality.

vote-for3vote-against

This shower head is only worth the $15 spent on it. Even after you take out the flow restriction, the massage setting is just a stream of water, no massage action at all. I bought two and the massage setting didn't work on either one. It was easy to install, I will give it that.

vote-for2vote-against

bought 2, installed 2, 1 fell apart, sent rma@woot an email and have heard nothing back. I love the one that works, but for double the money I could have bought a wand and shower head set...

vote-for1vote-against

@firefly21angel: yes there is and it is EASILY removed from the bottom of the wand handle.

vote-for2vote-against

Bought 1 of these from Woot and it's worked FLAWLESSLY. Don't know why everyone is having so much trouble with it. It was well worth my investment and every day since I've bought it, either my wife or I have commented on how much we enjoy it. The system does massage well and has plenty of varying settings that all work wonderfully.

vote-for3vote-against

@sumduud: I don't know if there is a RMA woot address... Send it to service@woot.com or go to "Write Us" on Wooot's main page. I have never had a issue of them not responding by using either one. HTH

vote-for1vote-against

almostheaven-I agree if you remove the water saver you will have all the great options this shower head offers. And as for the height i am 4 FT. 9 1/2 INCHES tall and i have no problem reaching the shower head. And even small children can use the extra head holder attached with suction cup so its can work for the whole family. Is better made then the $35.00 we got at local super store.

vote-for1vote-against

Bought one the last time they were on Woot and love it!

vote-for2vote-against

I also bought 1 a few weeks ago & like it. I have low water pressure & had to remove the restrictor as well - it was easy. I installed mine with a 3-way divertor & can run my regular shower & this at the same time which makes for endless possiblitities! (_)

vote-for1vote-against

I got two of these at the last wootoff and they work great.

vote-for1vote-against

I, also, purchased this last time around. Once concern I had at the time was that I did/do not have a wall mount and the hose must connect to the faucet directly. Wasn't able, at that time, to find the answer, so here it is for anyone else wondering:

This works perfectly fine when hooked up to the (appropriate) faucet.

In addition, since I have no place on the wall to attach this, the additional clip came in quite handy. Since my surround is textured, the suction does not work, but the adhesive backed plastic did/is doing a surprisingly good job of holding the head. Of course this is only able to be set once, where the Suction would be more adjustable.

For the $20 OTD, I highly recommend this head.

vote-for1vote-against

Bought one last time, and it's just ok. The only part that's metal is the hose - the rest of it is chrome plated plastic. The water flow and settings are adequate, but certainly not impressive (even with the flow restrictor removed). It's not worth any more than fifteen bucks, to be sure.

vote-for0vote-against

Bought one of these last time around.

No way it's worth $50 or even $40. For the $25? I paid for it I guess it's ok. Construction quality is very cheap. Pressure seems weak but perhaps removing the flow restricter will help there.

Anyone know where you can get an adjustable flow restricter?

vote-for1vote-against

I picked one up when this was on the Woot Off a few weeks ago. For the price, I love it, and am picking up another one for my other shower today. It is mostly plastic, but I was replacing crummy 20-year-old showerheads and so far it's worked like a charm. Installation was super easy.

vote-for4vote-against

Got mine from Woot a few weeks ago. Same material composition as the 7 year old Waterpik it replaced(standard detachable massager version) that was old and had a cracked mount. Waterpressure is amazing, and no leaks(unlike the Waterpik). Doesn't have pulse massage, but the massage it does have is actually more satisfactory for the wife for whatever it is she's doing when she spends an hour in the shower(according to her).
