Good deal. We miss you, Sansas. Come back to us!
BTW, dead link. Dunno why, but Newegg deals here tend to be flaky. Try this one:
@wilfbrim: That link is wonky too. Easier to just go to Newegg and do a search for Sansa.
Too bad they don't have the old Fuze's anymore. Those are my personal favorites. Hate the Clip, too small; hate the Fuze+, too sensitive, quirky & not user friendly.
Weird thing about both of those links is that they brought up a different set of products each time I clicked on them. Either way, deal appears to be good through newegg once you find the Sansa stuff. Pretty good price, and the limited 4gb size isn't even an issue with the microSD expansion.
I just got the 4gb black Clip+ on Amazon Prime for $29.99, not sure why it's up to $43.69 from Saturday. Did Sansa announce a replacement at CES?
Try http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16855125127 The code EMCNJJJ53 is for any (non-refurb) Sansa players.
For anyone who hates the default firmware on these things, check out Rockbox: http://www.rockbox.org/
Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this.. I can now relace my purple sansa that I inadvertantly gave to my cousins... and I can get my boyfriend an 8 gig.. or take the 8 gig and give him my 4 gig :D ( is that wrong ?? )
either way.. this rocks..
I <3 Sansas!!
Do these support AAC format files? My iPod recently died and I am looking for a low-cost replacement, but I don't want to have to buy all new music...
@whamilton1221 Here's a link for supported files for Clips.

AAC isn't among them, but you can convert your AAC to MP3 via itunes. So no need to repurchase your music.

Enjoy the Sansa. They're great low cost players.
At least Newegg is likely to send to correct item, unlike the Midnightbox scam of baiting with a Zip Clip and sending a Clip Plus from a month ago. Got my money back through PayPal, but still a PITA.
Can't recommend these enough. The cost + value ratio of these puts any Apple product to shame.
@ajbigger1:
The Sansa is one of the few (many only player left standing) that supports .ogg (Ogg Vorbis) and FLAC (free lossless audio codec) files. Both are open source file formats, unencumbered by patents.
So, if you are a hardcore FLOSS geek, these are the players for you. You will have to change the USB format on the player from MTP to MSC (dumb drive), and firmware updates aren't as easy, but it is still workable.
does anyone know if it is cheaper to buy them separately with the promo code ?
