Always fun to read new recipes. Up vote!

As far as using the freebie instead of just reading it, I have downloaded a few free cookbooks to Kindle and to my Touchpad via the Kindle App and I was disappointed with the experience. I couldn't take the device into the kitchen and assemble the recipes without having to touch the device a few times. Not something I really want to do when I am cooking: getting gunk on my mobile devices.

I found that the free Touchpad App Epicurious gave me exactly what I wanted: the recipe shown clearly with minimal to no touching.

@dreamyvelvet: I have found since discovering the Kindle for PC a wealth of cookbooks that I normally would not have the space for. I can view on the laptop no problem or print a page at a time.

I do not have a tablet yet. :(

@ferrisbueller: I totally collect cookbooks. My favorites are the cookbook lots on eBay from Southern churches (the fund raising ones). You just know those church folks put in their great-great-grandmothers handed down to every generation secret recipes. I find flipping through cookbooks to be pretty relaxing actually :-)

You know, now that I think about it, I ordered a Kindle Touch and a Fire and I can transfer this to them when they arrive. In for 1!
