Good price due to free shipping. :) Usually $11-13 on Amazon after shipping. Had been meaning to get some more of this stuff, it's amazingly useful! Bought and repped.

For those who might not know, this is the material used to make 'survival bracelets' that you see in stores, and is usually enough to make 5-10 bracelets depending on the size. The bracelets usually sell for $5-10 each, and buckle clasps can be bought from local craft stores for 25 cents to $1 for the nice ones that have whistles or compasses built in. They're also amazing for making or extending zipper pulls for coats (have trouble zipping up in the Winter with gloves on?) or luggage. Very handy for the crafty sort of person and making the bracelets and things can be a fun activity with kids.

Choose your color carefully, the listed price only applies to Black, Woodland Camo, or Army Green...all others are priced independantly

Decent deal. My stepson enjoyed making some things with this and I was buying from Amazon. Often enough I'd find this price, I guess most of the time it was $9.99 for a variety of colors. It takes some shopping around if you are looking for a specific color, but if you want one of these colors, this is a good price for 100'.

@grs: Shipping brings the price up to Amazon pricing. Might be better if you are buying more, but I'd almost call the shipping high, though I haven't placed a big order to see what kind of weight they have assigned to the various lengths. They do have a nice selection, so next time I need to place an order I'll check it out and see.

@sumduud: Personally if I need 100 ft or less I am inclined to buy locally, unless they sont have a color i need, but $48 for 1000 ft spools is great.

@grs: yea I would like to, but I don't know of any place that sells at prices that can compare to amazon. Local army surplus stores charge like $14.99 for 50', haven't found it at craft stores... Amazon with prime with here in a day or two, but yeah I'd love to get a spool of 1000'.
