My mother's pasty recipe was different so I included that as the Unofficial Cornish Pasty Appetizers. But there is so much more you can do, and I have done, with the pasty idea that I thought you might like to try some of the variations I've come up with over the years.
Vegetarian Pasty
Cheese, Mushroom and Leek
Ham, Swiss Cheese and Asparagus
Sausage Pasty
Piza Pasty
Asian Pasty
Jerk Chicken Pasty
Peach & Walnut Pasty
Bumbleberry Pasties
Banana & Chocolate Pasty
"Banana Split" Pasty
Apple and Walnut Pasty
Just to make sure my pasty recipes can be enjoyed anywhere in the world I have included a table of international measurement equivalents.
You are the best! Love me some pasties.
I read the title, chuckled and thought wtf, read it again and yup... Forgot the "R"
@intensesupernova: Um, I'm not following. There's not supposed to be an "r".
CAUTION! Do not attempt to apply these pasties to your nipples! These are a DIFFERENT kind of edible pasty!

Sweet! Going to use my old 7" Android for a cookbook now, anyway.
@curtise: With proper marketing, they could give the edible underwear people a run for their money.
If you lack a kindle, and just want a general recipe (not specifically the authentic Cornish version), you can watch Alton Brown's Good Eats episode "A Pie In Every Pocket." I've made those myself. Very tasty.
Just to clear up any confusion about the pronunciation of the word pasty or pasties...it's pronounced like pas-tee. Like, in the PAST I was confused about how to say pasties, but now I'm not. There is no long "A" sound in the word.
If you are going to use these as American Pasties, be sure and let them cool first.
Pronunciation shouldn't be a problem for anyone. Harry Potter buys pumpkin pasties off of the food trolley in most of the movies.
@danieleg: Unless you make the hot wax flavor.
Not sure if this was free for all at the start of the OP but as of 6:45AM EST on 6/16 it's only free if you have Amazon prime.
