Looks like a flashlight. It should come with a USB flashlight attachment!

2600mAh... so it's a large rechargeable AA battery?

@rrussell: USB ports provide 5v, and AA nimh's are 1.2v, so this would be the equivalent of four or five AAs. I built something similar with a Radio Shack battery holder as a backup for a PDA (remember them?) and it worked fine with the 4.8 volt output. This one appears to be identical to one I saw on Ebay, and its specs were 5.5volts output at 800 milliamps, so maybe 5 AA's with a circuit to limit the output voltage.

More likely an 18650 LiPo; it fits the shape of the device better than an array of AAAs and is a better choice (performance & price/performance). The 18650 size is starting to make it's way into consumer goods, and you can get them up to 5AHr (18WHr).

My current phone (droid 4) has a 1785 MAH battery which is around standard for the time when it came out however more current phones such as the Galaxy S III or IIII have batteries in the range of 2200+ (the new S4 is 2600). Knowing your specific batteries specs could impact your philosophy of use for an item like this. For me i can see it as a companion to my phone charging alongside it at night and carried alongside all day because it is good for a full charge and then some. If this were larger or your phone happens to be less of a battery hog than mine you could potentially station this somewhere (car, office, secret sex dungeon) and use it to just top off when you need it and not worry about charging it as often as you would your phone. All in all while there are larger sized of external batteries out there (4000-6000 can be found anywhere around 20-60 in multiple places) this is of a useful size and for the price I'm in for one and you should be too.

If you want something larger, I'll suggest searching for 20000mah on ebay, and expect to see something under $20 (including shipping). There are multiple sellers; I bought 2 before the price dropped, and I like what I got. Paying much more for smaller capacities doesn't work for me.
