dealsgm300 non-contact ir infrared digital thermometer…

I got one of these for checking a reptile habitat that needs a temperature gradient. It's a little bulky to get into a 10g enclosure, but is otherwise very handy (don't read through glass - the IR reflection will give you incorrect readings). Stick a half-dollar size piece of black construction paper into the enclosure for more accurate readings after it's equilibrated.

Since then I've also used it to track down insulation leaks around windows and various other tasks around the home. Ok, most of these 'tasks' were excuses to play with the thing.

My gecko loves the laser pointer.
