The battery cases have an interesting feature built in that allows them to be attached to each other. Interior closure clip is very sturdy and the case has plenty of room for all the slightly different sized AA batteries that are available today.

I made a "battery box" for my family years ago...just a simple box I covered and labeled "batteries" so that we all knew where to go to find some and I would be able to keep track of what batteries we were running low on. Go forth and make one for yourselves...

I buy cases like this on eBay for a much lower price! Four for $1.49 total, free S/H.

Search eBay for item number 180564056911 -- four cases, one each of four different colors. They hold AA or AAA cells, and they do slide/lock together, just like these.

These come in handy for transport, such as in a pocket or pack, so you have them in the field for your flashlight or radio when needed.

I use one of a 8 billion lock & lock containers I have lying around the house that I bought from woot. Works perfect.

It's true, Local.Woot is no longer, but please don't despair.

Never-ending savings are still to be found on Deals.Woot each and every day, so come on in. Don't think of it as a time for tears. Think of it as a way to bring us all closer together under one roof.

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
