Best part is that it is easy to do and the kids will love it!
The one vote down was from Darth Scrooge
lol or somebody got mad when they saw "Trek"
This may be my favorite post on deals.woot of all time!!! And it gets a +1 because it is also FREE.
My nephews are going to love to make these.
IT wasn't easy but i made the biker scout in a few minutes with scissors and xacto.
@bendd: I didn't catch that... how embarrassing.
Those are awesome! Thank you!
Yes! These are just in time for my new SWTOR addiction!
Even though I have the excuse of a kid.. I still want these for myself! Thanks!!
No kids, but I have no job, and no life -- now I just have to talk the wife into letting me use real scissors instead of safety scissors...
Great Post!!
@polarbehr: Same here. Did it last night. A little challenging, but doable with patience. My younger son flipped when he saw it and is debating which other one to do!
I'll bet you weren't expecting it to get this popular lol
This is THE most excited I've been this season. THANK YOU for posting this! Now if I only had a tiny light saber to cut these out with...
Oh, then it was One Darth Scrooge of Five. (ok i failed the dork check)
I just did the Yoda one. These work, but they're not for 5,6,7 year old kids, like I was hoping.
These are more suitable for your X-Acto-wielding 8-12 year old kids, while they're still waiting for their 13th birthday facebook accounts. Also, they're folded 12 layers thick instead of 6, so your tweeners need to have some macho forearms.
else, Awesome!
I made the yoda one... it came out pretty good! First snowflake of the year!
Definitely putting one of these up at work.
yay! deck the halls with nerdy fandom! make some hoth cocoa and cut them out with the kids.
I made a stromtrooper and a scout trooper. then to fill in wall space I just cut a bunch of imperial emblems for giggles.
This is awesome. It is harder than it looks though. However I made a yoda and a boba fett. they look sweet.
In the comments section someone links to a direct download of the 4 originals, unzipped they are in many formats, I just forwarded the dxf's to a business friend who may be lasering me out some killer stainless steel permanent ornaments...... >:)
Hothflakes.
These are pretty fun. A bit tough with just a pair of scissors though. They look awesome once they come out right!
@spikedknight: I would purchase Stainless steel StarWars snowflakes.
Yeah I am a dufus... goes to show I should not be watching Star Trek TNG on Netflix while posting Star Wars stuff. I bet someone could do an enterprise one if they were crafty. At-At snowflake might not be hard to stencil out either.
A good deal,I love it
@spikedknight I would buy those, too. Maybe your friend needs to start an etsy store and start cranking those babies out!
Also - that page doesn't like Firefox. Have IE open so you can actually see the page.
I think I'll make a bunch tonight to surprise my Star Wars addict kid.
These are amazing!! I can't wait to do them with my boys this weekend. Thank you sooooooooo much for sharing!!!!
yep, did these last week from Pinterest. Got Boba looking awesome, Yoda is ok, and the Scout Trooper is probably my favorite. Have yet to get a successful looking Stormtrooper. Some of the small areas are rough :\
Nice Find! Thank You!
They are great, but you will need an exacto knife to do. Anything to help the kiddies play with sharp instruments.
Made a couple today - used a box cutter, which does not work quite as well as an exacto, unfortunately. Anyway, Ackbar turned out ok (a couple of his irises (irii?) are somewhat detached), and Darth Vader was great. Lookin forward to how the others turn out!
Thank you!!! Open source sharing...tis the season.
I can't wait to do these with the kids as a surprise for their dad! Thanks for posting this
